I wonder if you can get in an hour earlier with your business card like regular business days. That would increase the odds of getting the wii greatly if you can get ahold of a business card. nm just read the add opens at 5:00 am, must be getting sleepy . |

I agree, it must be a price mistake. I thought Nintendo had a rule requiring retailers follow MSRP. Sam's typically has Nintendo products listed a dollar under retail because of some contract agreement with this warehouse club. If this deal is real, get in line. In any case the Wii is a must have for households with young children. Graphics may not be 1080p like PS3 / XBox360... but those consoles do not cater to the younger audience. Warning... fleabay resellers will be roughed up at Sam's if caught standing in line on this Wii deal! |

I'm thinking about a Wii to use as a media server using TVersity or Orb. Anybody have experience with using the Wii like this? Wireless? |

Its probably LC52D62U judging from previous BF sales.

I don't know if the wii has the power for better quality streaming. Also, the Wii lacks HDMI if you have HD video to stream this will be a problem. Honestly, for the money I'd pick up an Xbox 360 Arcade for $200 and get the cheap HD from MS to use as a cheap media server. |

I don't even have an HD TV, so resolution doesn't matter, either. I'm mainly trying to get rid of our piles of DVDs. Our kids are too young right now for the games, but going forward, I think everyone will enjoy the Wii vs. an Xbox or PS3. |

I know a lot of people use it for that purpose, as well as to watch Youtube clips on their TV. I don't know if it's the best solution, but many seem happy enough with it to continue using it for that purpose via the Internet channel (I think there will be an improved version released around the holidays, too). There may be better ways to do it via homebrew, but of course you do that at your own risk. If you choose to go that route, you can also play DVDs or movies from SD cards. |

I hadn't heard of homebrew before. That sounds interesting. I don't like the "at your own risk" part. I try to stay away from hacking my more expensive toys - at least right away. It also doesn't look like there is a video player that can play files from a network. That would be sweet. I'm planning to store movies on a NAS and it would be great to have Wii play media from there without a PC involved. I'll definately have to watch the development of this. |

Yep, a price mistake indeed. Sams now shows 445 for the Wii bundle... I knew that was too good to be true. |

Wish there was a model # LC-C5255U is the only active 52" Sharp Auqos LCD TV in the Wal-Mart/Sams Club system so unless Wal-Mart/Sams has done a special buy I would assume that is the Sharp 52" model being offered on BF. That model SKU# 380241 is curently $1599 in Sams Club warehouses and $1697 online at SamsClub.com so that would be inline for a BF doorbuster at ~$250 off. |

Based on past years Sams hands out tickets for hot BF DB items to those waiting in line prior to opening like the Wii and they are not simply on the floor for pickup. Even their own Sams Club employees are not allowed to purchase those items so good luck. |

Is the price for the Acer Aspire One a misprint? $350 is the usual price. |

Can someone clarify where exactly they are seeing that the Wii price is a misprint. I know it's suspicious, but are there ad scans at the higher price? |

Another data point We have two Sam's and one Costco here. Both the Sam's are doing fine. (Check Wal-Mart's latest record earnings news for details.) Costco had a 1% dip in sales this last quarter, but I think they'll survive. |
