Without some good deals on computer upgrades like hard drives, video cards, memory (although I did see a deal for laptop memory), more people this year will just say "forget upgrading, I'll just get a new laptop" making it even harder to get the one laptop they have on sale.

I generally agree that the deals don't look all that special, but I may be biased, because I was hoping for deals on hard drives, a new video card, and possibly another TV tuner card. Oh well.
