Folks, don't forget to grab a free printer too. It may be better than free, since this has a mail in rebate, and presumably the 40% discount would apply to the pre-rebate price of $70. Question - is it worth the extra $30 ($50*.6) to upgrade the processor from a Pentium(R) Dual-Core Mobile Processor T3200 (2.0 GHz) to a Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Processor T5800 (2.0GHz) ?? |

coral11 said:Do you think I will get the 40% off this HP w2558hc 25-inch Vivid Color Widescreen Flat-Panel Monitor, is the max discount $200? It would seem accessories would qualify since the link doesn't specify computers. the $200 is only for the eBay Live.com rebate. there doesn't seem to be a max on this one. I would NOT buy mulitple computers with this deal they can void if they think you're reselling. |

As for the processor, I always believe an upgrade is a wise purchase when it comes to the processor, but I have no idea what you're buying, you didn't mention a model number. |

I would be buying the HP dv5t series... I would upgrade the processor to at least teh 5800 if not the 7350, depending what you're going to do with it. I'm recommending this base model to some friends who only use it for email and very very light web surfing and I'm not going to upgrade their processor because they just need a basic computer, in fact I'm not upgrading anything for them off of the basic model. I'm also looking at this model for me and a friend of mine and for both of us we'd upgrade. It really depends what you're using it for. |

I believe only the DV7 17" laptops come with the full numeric keypad, check out the deals on HP's site. You can't use any outside coupons or codes or configurations, so whatever is posted there is it. I believe the DV5 15" don't come with the seperate keypad. |

With such a high CB rate, it's only natural to be a little paranoid about it. Hate to spend 2,000 on some laptop expecting 800 bucks back only to get nothing because you opted for the "free upgrade" to 2GB of ram or something dumb like that. |

folks folks folks, im 99prc sure the 40prc coupon will not be stackable with the instant rebates and prob a lot of people will get screwed over for trying to apply a 25per coupon then not receiving their Live CashBack, which I am hearing of for the first time. Idk if u wait ull find 40 or up to 399 off coupons during most of the year anyways. happy holidays |
