Well, my no longer says available in X number of days.. it now says available in 0 days and still pending.. will it churn tomorrow or is this gone into crazy town?

Logged into my account and saw the CB was awarded today! I don't see it in my checking account yet but should show up tomorrow. Two days turnaround!

I got my money yesterday. I love Microsoft Live CashBack!!. I feel like I punched HP in the nose and stole their lunch money! $500 rebate off $1300 laptop = $800 bargain!

i originally bought the mini 1000 and was able to get the cb notification and it posted to my account. everything was kosher until i was told they reduced the price by $35. i called HP for a price adjustment and they did it, no questions asked.

when may cb was due on jan 28th, the status all of a sudden changed to "cancelled, customer return". i was crapping bricks b/c 490 for mini is not worth it.

after a LOT of back an forth with HP/live, they agreed to honor the 40% at the ajusted price of 490. (total of 196 cb)

so far, i have received prompt emails and the csr was very helpful.. his name is collin. (no last name)

calling HP helped as well, they have a direct transfer line to live.com that is only reachable through them. i believe the hours are 9-6 cst (not 100% sure).

Me too, I'm getting nervous. In the CashBack account it says "Paid with Paper Check" on 2/5/2009. The U.S. Postal service doesn't take anymore then three days to mail letters. The only thing I can imagine is Singapore told the American office on the 5th...
