I don't have the full four-page black friday ad yet, or the in-store HP Printer flyer (lists additional deals), but I have gotten some preliminary deals that will go in effect for black friday (and some for the day after as well).
They've communicated to us some pricing information about the services and plans so we can be prepared for what they expect to be heavy volume. The black friday ad will start being sent to stores next wednesday, so we should see it then at the latest. I'm expecting some good deals, there's a lot of excitement at the company.
And as far as the items that will be on sale (but we don't have sale prices for yet), I know for a fact that the following items will be on sale (due to large quantities received): -HP A6642p-b 19" monitor bundle (6GB ram, 500GB hard drive, DVD burner, E5200 2.5GHz, gigabit networking, firewire, ) normal $899 should be less than $699 -HP G50-112NR Laptop (no details yet, should have about 2GB RAM, ~2GHz processor, 15.4" screen, nvidia mobile graphics, hdmi and VGA, webcam and microphone) -HP DV4-1123us (we have about a dozen of these in stock, all shipped recently, but it's also on sale this week; 14.1" 4GB RAM HDMI webcam) 976-900 -HP dv9999us 894065 (brand new laptop, lots in stock - 17" 4GB RAM) -TomTom 125 (same model as Sears) -Memorex LCD TV and another brand (not too sure about these ones) -Acer X183HB 18.5" LCD Monitor 891-795 -Hard Drives (we have about 20 500GB seagates and a whole bunch of new hard drives) -HP Dexkjet D5360

As far as the protection plans and services OD offers, I've got a quick little quide for them. Alot of people at these forums probably know enough not to want the services, but they're on a really good sale (quick fact: some OD stores in Florida have 75% of new computers going out with a service being done, nationwide average is 30%-40%)

Covers any shipping costs. -Repair plans - Start after manufacturer's warranty; Basically same as replacement, but for items over $299.99 (no gift card, item is repaired or replaced with similar item or gift card if irreparable). Items over 75 lbs. repaired in-home. Best for computers (tech support) or furniture (covers structural damage and some cosmetic stuff and starts day one). -Premium plans - accidental damage and spill coverage starts day one, surge protection day one, battery replacement available day 91+ (if below 50% manufacturer's specs, laptops only), other coverage starts after manufacturer's warranty. Includes free remote replacement if lost. Includes projector bulb replacement if for a projector. Also includes tech support. Covers pretty much everything but full immersion (i.e. falls in lake or tub) and cosmetic stuff (missing keys). Only for laptops and portable devices (cameras, gps, projectors, smartphones i.e. phones with PDA capabilities).

I'm looking to get a few hard drives and haven't seen any in the flyers I've looked at thus far. If the prices are better than what's available on the web now, this might be my stop. Otherwise, I haven't seen any great deals on the stuff I'm looking for and may decide to stay home this year.

I'm gonna be keeping an eye on that HP laptop potential deal. My old HP just gave out this week, and I'm looking for a good cheap replacement.
Holding out hope for OD, particularly for hard drives. At this point it's about the last place that hasn't been confirmed to be a black hole of suck for BF.
While I seriously doubt it would happen, there're also rumors of the aspire one going on sale (and at $349 already it would be a pretty hot deal - has XP on it)

Some of the Costco still have the Aspire One at the 349 price. You should go check that out.

Screw Office Depot. I thought the ad was great until you really see their false advertisement. A bunch of the computers have full computers shown, and the prices ON the monitors. Then what does it say in small print?! "Monitor sold separately." That's total BS and a really slimy way to advertise. I just completely decided not to buy from them.

BTW, those pictures of the ad are pretty low quality, and whoever typed up all the deals neglected MIR info.

Anybody notice the HP all in one for 24.99 on page 2? I thought that an all-in-one is a printer and scanner. But the pic shows a PricePoint of $49.99 with a sale at $24.99. What am I not seeing here?

Do you happen to know the specs on that HP Notebook (Model G50-112NR)? That is, does it have any premium features such as an integrated webcam/microphone, widescreen with brightview, etc? Also, is the $349 price an instant or MIR? The ad scan that I have found is very difficult to read, and OD's website lists no product specs for it.

Picked up the $350 HP laptop...everything works great, I had to wait from 11 pm to 6 am, and I was the 8th to get a voucher out of 15, there were like 30 people after that that just had to go home or pick a different laptop.
