I've been looking for a grill, and I think that the blue ember will work just fine. That's probably the only thing I'll buy this BF. Thanks.

that blue ember grill is a decent grill. it's got a lot of features, especially for the price. i spent months earlier this year researching grills (i ultimately ended up with a weber summit) and it always seemed like a good dark horse candidate. check to see if it's still made of 304 SS though. i had heard that the newer versions of that grill are the cheaper 403 stainless steal (a magnet will stick to 403 but not 304, which is a higher grade and more corrosion resistant). even if, though, it's still a pretty darn good deal.
if anyone is looking for a miter saw stand, i've got that miter saw utility vehicle they have advertised for $99. it's fantastic. the scms sucks though - i tried one and could not get the blade square to the fence and table. it also had tracking issues.

One thing I just noticed was that it says the price for the grill is a New Lower Price. I wonder if that means it's not really on sale, but just a clearance item that they are trying to clear out by making people believe it is $200 off? Any thoughts?
Many of the "Gifts under $20" and "Gifts under $10" are on sale at my local HD right now. The prices are still really good, but it's hardly a BF sale if we can get it now.

This ad is deceiving. I actually bought a better 18 Volt DeWalt Drill and Circular Saw Combo for $ 159 this week at HD. The drill for $ 99 is a lower end 18 volt drill. Lowes has the drill for $ 97, not sure if you could price match the drill on BF.
The 'new lower price' isn't a sale, it means the price reduction is permament. I think they marked down over 1,000 products in the store.

Ryobi 18-Volt Combo Kit w/ Free One+ Tool $59.97
Is a great price if you just bought a house and don't have any power tools. The quality isn't Dewalt but your going to spend double for 1 tool if you buy DeWalt.

I was looking into buying the blue ember grill this BF but decided not to after reading all the reviews from HomeDepot and couple other places. They said it was very unstable when it was windy outside and the outside rusts even though they had put a cover on it. They all said it rusts very quick b/c of the cheap quality of the stainless steel that they change to this year.
Home Accents Holiday 9′ Wesley Pine Tree w/ 1,000 Lights $149.00
This price got me all hot and bothered. I just purchased the tree yesterday for $199. The price in the very nicely detailed post should be $199 as per the small print in the pdf file.

anyone heard about the sliding miter or it being regional I haven't heard anything at the store...
Cool, the Husky LED lights are available...6 for $10. I bought these last BF (3 for $5), and one of them is blinking now. Great for keeping in random places and last quite awhile on AAAs, and the batteries are included -- 18 of them! Time to restock!

my ryobi drill finally died a couple months ago. i had been abusing that thing for going on 8 years. i've since upgraded to the makita 18v drill & impacter set (which are fantastic, btw) but the ryobi will work for quite a bit of light homeowner-type stuff if you're short on coin. not everyone needs the caddy when the corolla will suffice. just my two cents...
only problem with the ryobi is the batteries suck; anyone tried the lithium variants?

My Ryobi one+ tools have great battery life. The combo for $59 is a great deal, then add a free tool of your choice on top of that.

Ryobi.. great price.. but you get what you pay for.. plan on replacing them, as ebrad had too.. DeWalt tools are more expensive, but I have been abusing Black & Decker Professional (Dewalt predecessor) & Dewalt tools for well over 20 years now.. always reliable! aside from durability, quality goes a long way.. I used a Ryobi Jigsaw over the weekend @ a friends house.. terrible cut due to lack of power, and the fact that you don't have a clear view of the blade due to the deck.. needless to say 1 cut & i dropped it for my Dewalt.. smooth, powerful & well-designed.. quality tools lead to quality work.. just my $0.02 Happy Thanksgiving & BF to all
I was snooping on The Home Depot website and I am already seeing some of the blackfriday items on sale for CHEAPER then listed on the BlackFriday Ad's. Example the 12v 4 piece kit is 149 on BF and is 119 right now.

And some of the items are more expensive specifically the fake tree I was looking at is listed for $99, not $49...
$100 AR for the 4 pc Lithium Ion kit seems pretty good to me. I really only want the circular saw and the sawzall, but another light and lightweight driver could be useful. Hmmm...
guess no free shipping over $50 as usual, now its $149.99... bad

I went to homedepot in Northern BLVD in queens trying to get the BF Deal for the Ryobi 4PC Combo for $59.99 plus a free tool for any combo kit purchase. There were two idiotic managers who were not honoring the deal, saying i had to buy a combo over $100 to get the free tool. They were trying to bully me around telling me ''they aren't dumb enough to sell something for $60 and give away a $70 tool'' I said, uh that's the whole point of black friday. Well anyways, I had to escalate it to the senior store manager who, after 1 hour of arguing, finally cleared it up for me (and 20 other people) that there was a coupon that you had to use in order for the free tool - which btw, is in fact for any combo kit of any value.
Those a$sholes.

I got the last 5' husky ladder at my Home Depot. I've been needing a ladder and the price was great.
