I dont think Toys R Us is doing all that great, economy aside. 3 of them in my general vicinity have closed in the last 5 years. But I dont doubt they have some good deals.

i heard they call black friday something else. they call it green friday. Im not sure though, i just heard it from someone.
I'm not surprised they are closing. They have the worst customer service ever.
Also -- if you plan on buying something -- keep the receipt!!! They have a seriously harsh no return policy. Without the receipt, you can't even get store credit.
I was returning something recently, and the family next to us tried to return clothes that they had just bought the day before. The Mom could only find the gift receipt, so CS said they were only eligible for store credit -- nothing else can be done. So I whispered to the Dad that they do have the capability of looking things up by name, phone or CC number. He then kept pressing, and they reluctantly looked it up and gave the family their money back. And this was actually the store manager -- not cool at all.
I had a similar experience, Frazier. I had to fight (not really fight, but plead my case) for 10 minutes before they even gave me a store credit. Keep your receipts!
