I don't remember the discussion from last year -- Didn't some FW'ers buy BF deals the week before and jsut get the price adjustment on BF? Did that work out? (Not saying I'm thinking of doing that of course....)

Yes, Price Adjustments are a Target Policy. Here is the deal from an Ex-Employee...Me (I do all my Target BF purchases this way)
Purchase items on BF Ad upto 14 days in advance. ( at instore price on the actual day of purchase) I buy on Credit Card.
Walk into Target Store and Go to Guest Service Desk with Credit Card from above and Receipt from Day of Purchase
State you made purchases recently that are on-sale today (BF) and they will scan the Receipt then enter the DPCI (Target SKU) from the receipt for each item on BF ad. Its best to mark them with a little tick or to only buy the BF items on one receipt.
Guest Services Team Member will apply the credit back to the original card used to purchase.
This can also work with Debit and Cash Purchases but not with Check (14 day hold). I usually walk in the store on Wednesday night when they start the BF setup. (They usually close on Thanskgiving Thursday)
I bought the
Olevia 37" HD LCD last year this way.
Simpsons Box sets and Family Guy DVDs (that I haven't found a better deal on elsewhere) each year.
A couple cool things with this...
Guest Services is DEAD on BF (Everyone is buying, not returning)
You don't have to wake up early
You never run the risk of getting edged out by those who beat you through the door at 6AM.
You have to go in on Friday when the item in on sale in the POS system to make the price adjustment happen. Good Luck everyone.

Price adjustments are YMMV. Most other retailers suspend their price guarantees/matching for BF and Target may follow suit.

Sure they might. but the last 5 years have worked for me. Targets ADJUSTMENT policy is for Target purchases only and only if within last 14 days. They have never price matched other stores.
