I already have an ADM computer was thinking of going Intel this time due to all the easy overclocking and speed and large Cache cpus.

I already have an empty atx case, +80% atx psu (after mobo will need vid card psu and memory)

Would prefer a full board but if only can get micro due to budget that is ok too.

Also prefer to keep away from ECS as i read they are bad quality although most deals I see are for low price ecs boards.

i know I can't afford it nor should I spend the money but just feel driven to do it.

So let me get this straight, you want an ATX Motherboard for Overclocking an Intel Core2 but you dont want to pay more than $50 for it. Good luck.

Biostar might as well be ECS IMHO.

P965 is an old chipset. Was replaced by the P35 and soon the P45
I would stick with a P35 or X38 on the Intel side or nForce 780i/750i on the nVidia side if you want an OC Friendly board.

Then your latest post is an AMD Board even though you asked for Intel.

P35 overclocking capabilities and performance is pretty on par with the P965 chipset.

Besides, he wants an AMD chipset anyway.

My bad, I misread what he wrote.

The original poster is better off spending about 75 bucks and at least getting this board:

Get an E21XX series dual core processor.

Video card: 8800GS or 9600GT

Memory: Crucial memory thats cheap AR
