How do I download Directx 10?

Was it part of Vista SP1? If so, I have it already. I have a couple direct X 10 games, but when I go to M$'s Direct X website and click "download latest directX" it shows me a 9. version, not 10. How can I verify what version is on my computer? Thanks!

Goto Start and in the search box (Vista start menu) type DXDIAG and hit enter or on the Classic menu go to Run and type the same thing. You'll see what you have from there. I think Vista comes with DX10 installed though.

Vista comes with it already. Wont run on XP

for future reference:

Start, Run, DXDIAG <OK>

Will show DirectX version at the bottom of the big bubble:
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
