jacqcamer said: I just heard back from the support team regarding the VIDEO: Pet Hospice Helps Owners Say Good. I sent an email saying,"On the VIDEO: Pet Hospice Helps Owners Say Good... trivia I received only 50 points instead of 500. Losing 450 points."
This is what they said,"Thank you for your email. I am sorry for the inconvenience but it is against our policy to credit points in this manner. This rule is put in place to assure the fairness for all participants. Points may only be credited for individual instances to ensure that no member accrue points in a way unavailable to other members.
Therefore, your Points total relative to other members is fair when competing for prizes. You don't need an excessive amount of Points to win prizes now that the member accounts have been evenly balanced. Thank you for your understanding."
Anybody else get a similar response? I got the same response and their response/logic is wrong. Their main contention is that all members have the same opportunity. That only makes sense if they never adjust points regardless of the reason. My station will adjust points when there is an error with the trivia and the incorrect point amount is an error.
When there is something wrong with the trivia, if you don't contact them, you don't get the point adjustment. This situation with the points being wrong is no different. All members had the opportunity to contact them - therefore all members had the same opportunity and that's exactly what I told them when I responded to their response to me. It will be interesting to see what they have to say.
@sgm: No you can't delete a post but you can change what it says. You have to edit the post by deleting what you first posted and replacing it with somthing else like "duplicate". You have to post something even if it is just a period. Some of us just replace our posts with the emoticons such as this .

Seems my post was "inappropriate", so the mods deleted it - evidently I was trying to start an "uprising". Bad, bad Lil - I am a naughty girl and just before Christmas. Looks like I'll be getting a lump of coal. LOL

There is no answer, I had 2 show up on mine like that. I have a funny feeling that it might be the djs, but they can't win anything, and how they got that many XPs....is beyond my comprehension. Even with my short cuts, secrets, and whatever, I only get about 250+ a day.
bcronin said: We had a person on my board overnight show-up with 1102 leader points for the week 1051 for the day. Can anyone explain this? They will not at triton, it has happened once before and I asked. bcronin - I've seen something similar. I think there are add'l achievements given for users doing things like completing their 10th trivia and/or survey, passing 25 XP points, etc... I have a feeling that these achievements must also be earning the user XP points as well. No knowledge of this, just a hunch.
Oops! Now see, even though I "refreshed" the page, all these new posts did not show until after I repost the string. That's it. My computer HATES me. It wants to help me make a fool out of myself. (Not that I really need any help THERE, let me tell you!!)
Sorry! EDITED : I forgot to check for a new page...Ok, that's it. Take me to the Home now. I'm ready.
I believe you get XP points with the streaming radio. Right now I'm sitting at 1165 daily and 4213 for the week. I have the streaming radio station on all day long refreshing every 90 minutes. Nowhere does it tell you how you achieved these XP points, but I think that's why some peoples XP is so high.
Reply to McMac - I was wondering how people are able to get high XP totals. In my local FM station's leaderboard, there are 2 people with 1,678 and 1,567 while I have 983. I missed some on-air trivias during the week. I tried searching thru the station's website to see if I missed something, but to no avail. I earned my XPs thru the On-air trivia, More Trivias and Surveys. And I listen on-line when I'm because I can't get a good FM signal in my house. At work, I have a radio since my company blocks all entertainment websites (plus many others too) so I can't listen on-line.
Is there something that I'm missing in earning XPs?
