Anybody tried to buy The Who tix on auction? Seems Tom L. of Chula Vista has a cheat program that automatically outbids anyone the second they post a bid. Sent an email to JACK but they haven't responded.
There. Thanks for letting me vent. Unless of course this gets yanked. Then no thanks LOL.
Hi Marko50, Below is a copy and paste of the auction procedure: First here's a nutshell of how it works? Tom L has saved up a million points and he really wants the Who tickets so he may have placed an initial bid of let's say 750,000 points. Now the 'system' will automatically keep showing him as the high bidder until the bid reaches 751,000 and then 'that' bidder will be posted as the high bidder. Here are the posted rules: Auctions: When you place a bid, enter the maximum credits (points) you would be willing to pay for the auction item. The current high bid also represents a user's maximum bid. The 760 Rewards system compares your bid to those of the other bidders. Points are automatically debited from your account once your bid is placed. They will only be returned to your account if you are outbid by another member. If another bidder has a higher maximum, you'll be outbid. BUT, if no other bidder has a higher maximum, you win the auction item. If another player outbids you before the listing ends, you will NOT be contacted by 760 Rewards. It is the sole responsibility of the 760 Rewards member to check the auction status. New players will be able to access the AUCTION feature 24 hours after registration. ALL BIDS ARE FINAL ONCE ENTERED (No bid retractions will be accepted).
