I went to the Wheel Auditions @ Barona last eve. Did anyone else go?
Long lines and didn't get called, boo hoo. I've been trying to get on the show forever, but didn't know of auditions. All I've done is applying online to be a contestant. Is there any other way, it's not like I know Vanna or anything like that? Are the auditions open to anyone who shows up or did you apply and get a call to show up? Thanks for any response in advance!
yes, there is the "WheelBus" that is a mock show and qualifier. A guy named Marty is the Host and there is a sorta Vanna, etc. They bring five people up on stage at a time chosen at Random from the entries in a barrell. like 50 people max each session,there was three sessions. Follow on the site, an email list to notify you where the "WheelBus is and which town they are going.
Marty, by the way, is halarious. Totally amped out guy, too much Red Bull, but funny. I have coined him as "Marty, the One Man Party"
No rhime or reason who they pick, just luck of the draw.
