Someone on the JACK BLOG said they saw on TV this morning that J&J won't be back until April 18.
One guy said this is a promotional gimmick and STAR will be back but I think that's bull.
I guess I won't be listening to STAR for a week. I wish I wasn't so annoyed by Duncan and Mel!

If anyone from Jack is reading this, I am your target audience based on information I googled.

I think your new programming is brainless and lame. How hard is it for someone to load a bunch of B and C quality songs (you know almost grocery store stuff)into an MP3 player and hit shuffle?

Who of you would want to get woke up by the Bee Gee's? Thats what happened to me because I forgot to switch the station on my alarm clock. I REALLY will miss the DJ's. I have read about Jack in other area's, Star 100.7 is not the first radio station that this has happened to. The other stations lost all their DJ's, so it seems to me that it will be an exception from the normal Jack take over protocol if they kept the DJ's that they claim will be staying.

This would have been a pretty cool idea as an April Fools Joke on April 1st but in reality, I do have to agree with everyone else that this new format SUCKS BIG TIME...

The music is all over the place, you're never sure what's going to come up next (kind of like my iPod Shuffle) but I mean, come on... When it ain't broke....

Jack's new mantra is "We play what we want..." Well, Jack, I probably speak for a LOT of San Diego listeners and "We'll listen to what we want..." and it's DEFINITELY *NOT* going to be YOU...

I'm going off my soapbox now...

Yeah, I've just been back in my "lurk" mode lately but this really got me riled so I had to say something... I'll still be around doing codes but probably not with this station anymore...

By the way...Did you notice that as of 6:25 pm on April 7th, there were only 187 comments! Oh, please!!! Only 187 people commented on Jacks' Blog. That's b---sh--! They must be deleating a whole LOT of comments!

Speaking from the same generation, spunky1, I am with you. I did all that hair metal, cheesy pop, and lame lame 80s crap when I was in jr high and hs - I hated it then, & it makes me sick now. It's giving me hs flashbacks. Now that's a horrible way to wake up in the AM.

I checked out sdradio.net as someone suggested and they have Jen's email posted on there so I emailed her and she repkied back right away!

I hate to burst your warm fuzzy feeling, but I got the exact e-mail from Jen. I am glad, however, to have found a place to b**** about Jack 100.7. It was getting so frustrating going onto the Jack blog and hearing only the good posts. I knew I wasn’t alone.
