When did you get your email? Are they shipping overnight. I have to make sure I'm home, my UPS driver hates me.

UPS delivered mine today too. They tried to come yesterday but I wasn't home. Strangely I got the email yesterday as well, the same day they attempted first delivery. UPS 2nd Day Air envelope.

Got mine today as well.

Got mine today too!

I was somewhat surprised since I got a statement credit too!

OK, I got mine. Looks like this thread should be closed up soon... Still waiting on the extra $25 GC though...

I was so disappointed with the wishlist last November because I did not get any good deals. To my surprise today, I received a $150 bestbuy giftcard from AMEX. I won the bestbuy cert last Nov and here's the catch, AMEX does not check if your purchase was adjusted. I purchased $1000+ worth of the 750GB hard drives and PM'ed to the next best buy store for $53 each. In the end, I only spent 300+ on the hard drives after PM but I still got my $150, what a deal. Thanks AMEX.

I still haven't received the gift card. I called them 2 weeks ago and they asked me to fax the receipt. Is it because I use a third party AMEX card? Did anyone receive the BB gift card by using a third party AMEX card?

I've got a regular AMEX, and was asked the same thing. It's because AMEX offloads their contests to a 3rd party company that doesn't have access to your statements, so they can't just reference your statement. Despite faxing in my receipt, they're still screwed up and haven't sent me my Restoration Hardware certificate.

Got mine today after missing it on Friday. Never received notification, but it's about time it arrived...three months later.

Finally got mine too! Looked like a cheap photocopy as the letter along with a yellow price tag sticker on the gift card that said $150. Definitely an afterthought. Well hey at least I got it, AND the credit from AMEX. Made out pretty good in the end.

I just got my $25 GC for the inconvenience. It looks like they ran out to BB to get it, and they even wrote my name on it

Honestly guys, I never worried about it. I knew AMEX was a stand up company.

I was gonna spend the money at Best Buy, it is nice that I got a $150 gc.

I was never worried they'd try to welch on the deal, but there's no excuse for taking this long and handling the situation so poorly.
Hey, I'm a stand up guy, and I will pay my bill, but if I take longer than my due date AMEX charges a late fee for the inconvenience.

Amazingly they sent a GC to me, so I ended up with a credit and a GC. Feel badly about that, but not badly enough to send the GC back or cut it up. I guess their lax customer service worked in my favor, for once.

...and yet some of us still wait. I made my required purchase from Restoration Hardware. I've called probably more than a dozen times. I've been asked to fax a copy of my receipt ... which I did, and they confirmed they'd received it. I've been asked to re-fax my receipt ... which I refused to do because I'd already sent it, and they already confirmed they had received it. I've had my case "escalated to upper management" multiple times. I've had a bunch of people call me to tell me things are being researched. I've never participated in a promotion that was run with such incompetence as this one. They see that I'm qualified. They agree that I've qualified. Yet somehow when it comes to fulfilling their end of the deal, they don't seem to know what to do. It's one of the most pathetic things I've seen, and it has completely turned me off to AMEX ... probably the opposite of what their intention for running the promotion was in the beginning.

That SUCKS!
Only thing I can reccommend is to try the contact info. I posted earlier in the thread, and definitely raise a fuss with normal AMEX CS. At least two of us received credits for the BB GC directly from AMEX, not from the Wishlist people.

FYI AMEX has stated that there will be no Spring My Wishlist this year. Let's hope for a big Holiday Wishlist in November

I was wondering if there would be a Spring one as it would have been at least announced by now. It usually is really crappy anyways, but I was hoping for Home Depot WC to get landscaping stuff for this spring. Oh well.

The run ends....
First no more Tailormade, now this. I must start to rethink my AMEX loyalty....perhaps then they will reinstate these nice customer perks.

1. Won the Wishlist GC
2. Bought the ML6720 Gateway laptop and 19” monitor online to get over the $600 threshold (about $870).
3. Price matched the laptop for the $399 price.
4. Rather just pay less for everything and not worry about GC, got $100 internet discount on laptop, returned monitor.
5. Paid $320 after taxes for the laptop and received $150 GC and a second $150 GC today. Unexpected super hot deal!

Too bad - I was looking forward to lots of fun and good stuff

What?! That sucks. I was just in this forum to check and see whether there would be a Spring Wishlist.
