nothing is mentioned for the cars.
Yeah no mention of tax reimbursement for anything other than the jet. Another bad change from previous years, they've slowly been reducing the tax assistance where now it's only for one prize. ditto... did someone mention anything about the lack of Amazon and tru WC? oh yeah. tons of people already.... ech... |

Ah, didn't realize a thread existed on this. OP, perhaps update to MyWishList on title for more people to find. Looks like most of the old crew found out here already. AMEX, we're happy you're back again! Nicer prizes it seems this time too, NM = Saks? One can only hope. UPS turned out to be nice too. |

Not necessarily. They've offered reimbursements on high ticket items before without saying such. It appears about $5k is is the cutoff for them starting to reimburse for the tax burden. They did for the cruises last year, but didn't for the ring IIRC. |

I didn't even know this one existed until I went to the thread that I thought was the official one to find out it had been closed as repost. Welcome back! |

no worries! Not a fragile ego, you know.... I did search 'mywishlit' and didn't find it. Didn't broaden the scope. Thanks OP for adding that in the title. It'll help people find the thread more easily. I'm disappointed by that Amazon and TRU don't appear to be here this time and BB looks even worse with a mail in GC instead of instant this time around. They clarified the promotional period to a 5 minute window with a 'timed' release of the product, so that's an interesting twist. The 'unlock' looks like it's here to stay and they're satisfied with the results on prize integrity vs the previous revisions on keeping the hackers out. I'm still pretty sure us FWers and SDers alike will take the lion's share home because we're so darn persistent folk, not hackers. |

intersting though, they show the first day as Nov 26 on this little video but on the site they say Nov 27 CSenior said:Welcome back all! http://mywishlist.amexnetwork.com/aboutmywishlist.html gives a little more insight to the first 3 days.
It seems they are bring back the 65" Sharp Aquos and a different coffee machine. Does anyone know what make/model it is? Thanks! |

Ooh, the C30's look like the hatchback model. That would be awesome. Unhappy there are no Amazon's and maybe no TRU. Not sure if the video is accurate. I noticed the Featured Products were from the summer rendition of MyWishList. |

Anectodally from winners who post it seems few get tax refunds anymore. And the tax reimbursement language has been dropped from their T&C so it's a total gamble now I guess. |

And the tax reimbursement language has been dropped from their T&C so it's a total gamble now I guess. Cruise was last year's winter promo. They reimbursed taxes despite not stating such. The spring promo didn't have large prizes beyond the giveaway (TV and computers don't make it on the list....never did). No one on FW/SD got the giveaway so couldn't report on that. So, our most current and best example is from last year's winners. Especially on travel, AMEX won't stick it to you. They WANT you to promote AMEX usage and tell all their F+F about MyWishlist and AMEX usage. They won't screw it up with a stupid tax benefit and have the completely opposite effect--not good PR. |

Happy Vets Day all. Looking forward to "seeing" some old friends. Hope all our cards are unlocked. Oh yeah, somebody win that BMW and we can take a ride. I say I'm not interested in the prizes now, but when that I WANT IT button appears, I would pay $900 for an amazonian pea-shooter. |

Hi everyone! I'm disappointed about no Amazon, but I'm with you Chariot on the pea-shooter! Maybe this time they will have the "You Got It!" screens again. That really improved the experience for me! |

Welcome back for another round all! With the instant win nature of the Ultimate Wish Giveaways looks like I'll be stuck clicking all day rather than just at noon, 1,3,7... |

T+C state the release period is TIMED release during the 5 minutes of each promo period. That means click away for 5 minutes of the 'it's gone' appears. A lot better stated than previously. |

OK I agree with most of what you say except larger TV's used to definitely qualify for tax reimbursement a while back. They very well may still do it for travel prizes but the lack of anything in the T&C makes it a little iffy. |
