I wonder what impractical goodies I'm going to buy this year... 16cup food processor is still kicking good and my niece still plays with her am. girl dolls.
Based on their terms and conditions, NO Amazon WCs!! Booo.

Yes, I've moved over primarily to the other site as well. FW gets very little traffic from me anymore, and I'm at other related sites at least once a day. I keep a handful of accounts at both sites though, "just in case".
same old need to get unbanned i might have mom AMEX maybe to use. i just need to grab a neimans WC if its 25% that would be rad. the deals seem to be getting lamer every year

would be awesome if the neiman's is a repeat of the Saks GC from the first wishlist. Somehow I don't see them making the same mistake again though.

What happened in the first wishlist with the Saks?

Was advertised as $50 off $200 purchase, but they just sent $50 gift cards out with no purchase limit. Was pretty sweet.

No Amazon or Toys R Us?!?!?! I guess there really is no Santa Claus.
Updated the quick summary with the details from the T&C and FAQs. Looks like it's the "unlocking" game this year...

Welcome back everyone. Just noticed this thread is up and running. I am all ready to click, but without Amazon or TRU, it will be a pretty crappy selection of WCs this year. I was counting on Amazon for some more stacking with their x-mas giveaways. The free elliptical is working great.

Yes, Amazon hooked me on that contest like AMEX did. I still haven't used the tent, but I love the free Ellipitcal too still!

The tent is huge! I considered using it as a parking spot for my car. It is still sitting in the box next to my red geneva speaker I will not use.
Does anyone else think the X-Box is a bit high in price? I was hoping for something HD/BR more in the $150 range. At least the BMW is worth trying for.
wow, those wish certificates are really lame this year. bad move on the part of AMEX to exclude Amazon because in the past few years it's really gotten me to spend a lot more on my AMEX card than I would have without those wish certificates. good news for me is that I'll probably only buy what I need or plan to buy this year instead of "looking" for things that I _might_ want because I have the nice discount. too bad though cause trying to the wish certificates was part of the fun and I really don't see any that I want to try and get this year. hope they bring back Amazon in the spring or next year, but I doubt it.

More likely Amazon decided not to participate this time, I'm sure AMEX would love to have them but it's up to Amazon. They've been getting tighter with pricing and probably don't want to give the discount, despite participating for like 3 years now. Really devalues the wishlist though, Amazon coupons were a unique thing to look forward to.

Really doubt it, no one ever seems to come back to wishlist once they drop out.

The Amazon and TRU certs were the only decent things I ever managed to get... and the only ones they ever came through on. I'm still waiting on the Loehman's WC from last year (no, not really... I've long since given up) which they promised me was on its way three separate times and never actually delivered.
Ah well, at least I won't be clicking in vain three to six times a day anymore.
Is it me, or did they not have a submission period for wishes this year?

Boo - no Amazon GCs. Wonder if there's any chance they might just not be announcing it until D-day in the hopes of stopping people from holding off on their Amazon purchases until December to be able to use the 25% coupons. Ah well.

nothing is mentioned for the cars.
Taxes on 125k vs. taxes on 30k. Big difference.
Could you donate the plane to make-a-wish foundation and then just pocket the 60k - taxes on 60k??

Yeah no mention of tax reimbursement for anything other than the jet. Another bad change from previous years, they've slowly been reducing the tax assistance where now it's only for one prize.
