3:30 pm Union p/w: celebrity Wow, that's really unfortunate that CBS radio decided to get rid of WBCN and put another sports radio format here in Boston. I was just listening to BCN's promo about how they have been around for some 40 years and thinking what an accomplishment that is. I know they say that WBCN will be available as an internet radio station but I don't think there will be nearly as many listeners to that format. Best of luck to the DJs & everyone else at WBCN. Yet another sad day in the Boston radio landscape. |

well the switch doesn't happen until August 13th. I'm thinking about making a petition if it hasn't already been done. What do you guys think? Worth a try i guess. |
