on a side note, i have tried these clubs from costco end of last year and they actually are really good clubs. great distance and great forgiveness. i'm a 14 handicap golfer with grandfathered clubs (ping knockoffs) and it was hard to try new iron sets at the end of last year due to difference in iron club distances. i.e. i hit my current 5 iron 180-185 yards but with these burners i was hitting 200-205 easily. my 7 iron i hit 150 and i was hitting 175-180 with these burners. i'll probably buy this set at some point, hopefully in the beginning of the season so i can adjust to the new distances and i'll hopefully break 80 finally!
Don't waist you valued time. For last couple of years I tried 5 - 7 different offers similar to this one and NEVER get anything. They are not going to send it to you, they just collecting your info...

I have owned at least 5 different sets of TM irons, and numerous different woods. They are a reputable company and I doubt they would do that. All golf companies send 6 irons out to the golf shops as demo clubs, an extra 20k is a drop in the bucket for a company like that.

I don't even golf, but I signed up for it anyway. I guess that's FW effect. Thanks OP!
Hmmm... you think they've hit the 20,000 yet? 14,000 on slickdeals, 300 on fatwallet... Probably with all the jerks who sign up using 10 different emails, its too late...
1) I think this thread should be moved to contests/sweepstakes. 2) It doesn't start for 2 days. My guess is that anybody who signs up is just giving them personal information in advance and may not qualify.
I think it is a great post but the Terms & Conditions are pretty clear.
Not working for me. After filling out form and clicking "next" it places red x's next to each field. Using IE8. Going to try again when it officially starts.
Update: I couldn't even get to the answers with IE8... couldn't get past my name, address, etc. It worked with Chrome though.

Just change or re-select your answer after clicking next and it giving you the red x's. It'll take them then. Buggy.
Note that the rules state you will "win" based on your answers to the survey questions .. so they are somehow targeting certain groups .. it's not the first 20,000 to fill out the form .. it's the first 20,000 that win the club based on their survey answers.
it's a catch 22.. i probably wont get the 6 iron because of all the people who registered that don't want it (or even golf, for that matter) but I never would have stumbled across it if it weren't for FW.
For those that don't golf or haven't shopped around clubs in a long time, the 6 iron is considered the standard iron fitting size. When you're trying out different clubs in the store or in a club fitting, they do irons off the 6 iron club. I'm guessing this survey and free club is to get a bunch of people who golf to try out the 6 iron and consider buying a set of new Taylormade Burner irons.
The 6-iron is probably the second most used club I use for approach shot.

Bummer
Thank you for participating in Project Burner. The response has been overwhelming, with participants far outnumbering the amount of free 6-irons available. Because of that, we are unable to send you a free Burner 6-iron.
However, to show our appreciation for your participation, TaylorMade and Project Burner are offering you $10 off any online purchase
