I'm a barrons subscriber and I'm a cheap. I saw the "free" deal but the next best thing is the mags for miles with the airlines. I used 1200 miles to get six months. The miles are the equivalent to about $30.00

Barrons has been in Mags For Miles for years. They only offer 6 months for new subscribers. No renewals. Don't know if you can sign up for another 6 months after your subscription expires.

A simple name change is all it takes to be a "new subscriber," so after the first six months just use your miles again and order a second sub with a different first name. Does take a LONG time to actually receive the paper, so might want to start the process six weeks before the first sub is scheduled to expire. Great deal, though.
