Click this Link to find all stores that are selling the 16gb TouchPads for $99 and the 32gb for $149. I did this and found that Pcrichard already has it for these prices. Please note not all stores have updated their prices as of yet.
I'm waiting for Sears or WalMart to have this. There is 12.5 and 15% CashBack from another website.

Office Depot wants $129.99 and $149.99, respectively, don't know if you would get a PM on a clearance or out of stock item...
Microcenter has them retail price, but I'm sure a price adjustment would be no problem later today...

Should be safe to buy from Staples....they match price drops within 14 days and it's dropping everywhere by then.
Based on past experience with Staples.com and PMing that is a huge YMMV strategy if you really want one of these at the new pricing. Staples.com requires the item to be in-stock at the competitors location and a PM of that amount requires a corporate decision which generally takes 2-3 days for approval. With the WSJ reporting this morning that HP is stating that less than 50K of these made it to the US they will cetainly be sold everywhere long before that happens. Staples.com also will not match an in-store clearance items from their own B&Ms. This will certainly be classified as a clearance item in their B&Ms at opening this AM.

But since Staples has 14day return policy with no restocking fee, if they don't PM, one could probably just return/rebuy, no?

yes indeed there is no risk return here. However as stated above if you really want one of these to use it is a poor strategy. I would certainly have a backup plan.

yes indeed there is no risk return here. However as stated above if you really want one of these to use it is a poor strategy. I would certainly have a backup plan. Well, what I meant is that ASSUMING Staples B&M drops the price on these to $100, yet Staples.com won't PM it because it's either clearance or because it's not in stock, wouldn't you be able to return it at a Staples B&M and purchase it right back at the discounted price? Of course, that's certainly contingent on them dropping it to $100ish, but that seems fairly likely. Yes, it is a risk and if possible, you'd like to have a backup plan like you said, but worst case you can't get it anywhere else, it might be a good option.
"I told a friend about this last night after my sister scored a few for us, so he decided to camp out at a local BB and try to snare one at opening. He just called me to tell me that there's a line formed out there that is approaching several dozen strong...says if people keep dropping in like they have been, by the time the store opens in a few hours it'll be near Black Friday conditions. Yikes...good luck to anyone trying their luck in store at opening."

For those still looking. I was able to easily PM at Sears this morning and even apply a $10 coupon Sears had in their Satuday ad in my local newsaper. I used the HP site for the PM but it looks like HP has completely removed the Touchpad from their store site. However you should still be able to easily PM using the other retailers showing the new pricng.
BTW I initially tried Staples and the manager stated they received a memo stating that all unsold units were to be returned to HP. I am not sure I believe him though. It is well known Staples.com and B&M support services do not work on the weekend.
