domain : GoDaddy host : awardspace (a free web host). I dont do much..and the domain (www.[my first name].ORG) for now pretty much just sits there with a static page.. I'll work on it.. I swear (have been saying that for the past two years.. :-\ )

Did you have problems with Netfirms hosting or just domains? I've used them for domains and haven't really had any problems. WHOIS privacy comes with the package but, while you can usually get a cheap first year name, renewals can run $11.99 and coupons are rare.
Hosting...especially after they have the new third party application installer....
