This deal is from NYC Dealfind. 96% off! Seems like an awesome deal to me. I wonder if there's a limit to how often you can have a cleaning. Please post your thoughts/opinions.

Sounds more like a one time or two time cleaning that adds up to 3 hours over a one year period based upon the terms. there is no way they could make money otherwise unless it's a typo and it should be $999.00. And who uses a yahoo acoount for their business?

I'll try calling tomorrow.

where is Winchester, NY?

Basically you are buying a 3 hour cleaning for $99. Not a very good deal in my opinion. As a matter of fact, it is a shady deal. I am going to red this deal just so people don't buy it by accident.

I am going to red this deal just so people don't buy it by accident.I don't think so. It says: "Please allow 4 to 6 weeks between each cleaning". And if it's just once, what does "unlimited cleaning" mean??? Seems to me we can get a cleaning every 4 wks, which comes to $8.25 each time. But I'll call them to clarify...

As usual, if it sounds to good to be true, it IS.................

I bought a Groupon for housecleaning, but could never get an appointment. Either the Groupon was legitimately so popular that they were overwhelmed with requests, or they realized how much money they would lose and stopped honoring Groupons. So that's one risk. At the discussion thread at DealFind, they are saying they space cleanings 6 weeks apart--so 9 a year. That's best case IMO. More likely you will find they won't honor appointment requests or space them a few months apart.

There's also the risk this place will go out of business fast and you'll be out the $99.

The fine print says appliances are $10 extra EACH. I wouldn't be surprised if they cleaned appliances without asking and tacked on another $30-40 per cleaning. Same for windows. Deep cleaning is also extra. I don't know what they mean by "deep clean" but if these people just come and run a vacuum and dust, and charge you for everything above that, there is no deal here.

You should of course tip generously.

All things considered, I don't think this is a very good deal.

Who are you, satchelsofgold, to lecture us about "tip generously"? Do you know these foks, Have they done a good job. OH wait a minute, you know nothing about this deal. Your guesses (that's all they are) have shredded this deal. But you have NO information. And btw, Groupon stands behind all deals so if the company goes out of business you get a credit. You need to find out if that's true for DEALFIND. Thanks for not helping at all; your post is a waste of our time.

That's your conclusion? A firm closes at 5 PM so they must be family-run? And that is relevant, how? Nice try!

Sorry, I didn't get a chance to call on Friday. I just tried but got a message saying the Google Voice subscriber is not available or something. Did anybody else get through to them?
