If you are a veteran on the job market and near here - I strongly suggest attending. Great day. I was lucky enough to be a speaker on one of the panel discussions last year and also worked in the job fair portion of the event and ended up making a few hires here. Companies are showing up to this event with every intention of finding people to hire.

If this get moved to hot deals it will get a massive amount of red and will never be seen by anyone.

it's not about the posting individual. Why is the veteran family opportunity RED?
Explain why "$2 Subway sandwich" opportunity is a Hot Deal with +27 GREEN, while complimentary buffet at Cipriani 55 Wall Street + a shoe-in opportunity for high-wage permanent Wall Street job for a veteran and their family was just intently REDDED by the group respdoc holv mxmissile qube yourmanj81
It's not a hot deal. It was purely informative. If you don't like the rules, you are more than welcome to start your own site and put whatever deals (or information) you want on the front page. You can also call out whoever doesn't like your posts like a cantankerous little child. Grow up.

Because in general hot deals is for deals that one can purchase.
One does not purchase a job...
Me posting a link to Monster.com with a job fair would not be a deal...
The closest forum this thread really fits into IMO is finance since they have the long "Post job opportunities at your location" thread. Though even there it doesn't fit all that great.

Not sure of your reading skills...since I haven't ever given this red.

You always get picked on respdoc....you are a voice of reason on here. People don't like that. They want to be hailed and praised for lackluster nonsense.

Woops...double post. Same sentiment for LordB. Excellent point!

respdoc, there is no doubt you got this ball rolling. Without even considering the Subject
I agree with LordB that it's hard to find category for this. That's why, with one day to go for registration, Hot Deals might have been best. Or Free category, if all one wanted out of this opportunity was a Cipriani lunch worth about a hundred

With 1 hour left for registration it is still not a hot deal.
Let's see how many jobs actually come out of this since the corporate sponsors don't seem to be the hiring type.

qube and the rest of respdoc company, you take POOPING into threads overly lightly, let alone pooping on heads of veterans and their families.
