I missed the Dell 14z on black friday which was exactly what I was looking for. Died out at final review. I really want to spend under 300 for a laptop for my daughter. I have the microsoft office keys purchased but, I cant find a really good build in this price range for her. I could squeek up to 350 but it isnt fair to my son if she gets something else really expensive for christmas as we got her a car to use already in the fall and he's only 13.

Thanks for the links. I dont want to disappoint her at christmas but, I do know I can get a good deal searching FW as long as I can match up the store to my area

xmas deal on laptop might be better

I guess so.

Nope. Life as we know it is soon to be over. Remember that the world is ending Dec 21.

True. It's best to teach them young..it's not the thought...but cost...that matters.

Try Dell Outlet, and refresh it often.
You can find lots of good deals around $300. I ordered a 14z (i5, 8GB ram, 750 gb hdd) for $280 using the 30% off code.

Very nice as we know you love the dig but, really do you have siblings? Did your parent not try to make christmas even? So the thought that counts is she gets the laptop and I say well I bought you socks and it's the thought that counts.

BTW I did buy her the Dell from Best buy posted yesterday.
