MD residents that have Potomac Edison as their electric provider can get a $30 rebate per LED fixture with no limit. Home Depot has retrofit recessed fixture from $34 - $60 that are a 5 minute job for any homeowner. Running from 11 - 17 watts, dimmable and instant on. Program runs thru the whole year. Also rebates on Refrigerators and CFL's. Check their site for rebate form and info. Only need to be energy star approved.

LED bulbs are discounted in the store but only selected ones. Lowes has the biggest selection and Home Depot will not be a bulb participant until spring. The best selection for the fixtures is HD where the retrofit for recessed lights run $35-$60. Very simple 5 minute install.

thank you so much for the rebate form! The form itself is VERY interesting since it includes the surge protector/power strips in the rebate.
