I am trying to find a deal on a 17" laptop for the last 6 months (I have obviously been late on a few of them)
Here are the specs that I trying to get into: - 17" Laptop (High Definition 1600x900 min) - Intel processor (i3, i5 or i7) - 500+ GB HD - 6+ GB RAM - 1+ MB Webcam (High resolution is good to have) - <$500 - Good speakers for multimedia (movies and games)
Unless you want something with discrete video for gaming, the intel processors should be out of your list since they have somewhat crappy integrated video (HD Graphics 4000 GPU). If gaming is just an afterthought, then by all means go for the intel processors with built-in graphics.
I don't know if you can get what you want for less than $500 and have something you can actually game with.

I have always loved the value of the Dell outlet laptops. same 1 year warranty as new laptops and they usually look brand new anyway with no signs of being a second hand laptop. $485 seems to beat your spec/ price requirements too.

Thank you kdog271811. This is a great suggestion.. now only if I could find any priced exactly at 635!!! I tried blocking one for 639 but the coupon would not apply. And the coupon details state that the coupon is for 150 off of laptop priced 635.
