Staples has updated their Staples app and is giving coupons again but with the date on the coupon. The coupon I got was for a free set of pens with $20 purchase.

Yes, you have to install version 2.4 from the Play Store or the App Store. If you still have a device where you have not run the cycle of coupons, it will still generate the old coupon sequence until you hit the end of the cycle of coupons. Else without upgrading to 2.4 you will get no further coupons. All the old coupons that are still valid all expire on 3/1/13.
I loaded the new app. I then checked in and it said checking for valid coupons available but didn't do anything. I tried this 3 times. All of a sudden 5 minutes later I get the same coupon 3 times. Not sure if it was the app or my data connetion. BTW I got the free set of pens with $20 purchase.

I guess the next question is if you don't use the $10 off $75 and check in again do you lose the $10 off $75? Do you get another coupon and have 2 in your check-in at once?
