HOT DEAL Save $400

Or better yet
http://www.amazon.co.jp/%E4%B8%89%E8%8F%B1%E9%9B%BB%E6%A9%9F-NJ-...

Only $537 in USD shipping kills it though

Yes it is special, and some take their rice very seriously, but I will stick to my $40 special from Costco

It generates no steam and the rice retains more moisture inside each grain. This is something Jiro would use to make his sushi rice...

Energy consumption: 1270W

Waw..

More water loL!

I have an IH pressure rice cooker and I must say rice tastes so much better when cooked in it.
Stays fresh for a long time.
You can add vegetable, mixed grains (brown rice & white rice, lentils & rice, Beans &rice, meats & rice etc)the end result is perfect.

The FW way is to use a plain ol' pot with a lid. Add water and rice. Cook.

I find the microwave works better.

people live on the street and others pay $500 for a rice cooker that is marginally better than a $40 one.

What am I doing wrong?

Well... Rumor has it that you need hookers and blow, not just a rice cooker.

wow... simply wow. That is too expensive and I bet it will still manage to ruin the rice due to idiot user.

Well if you can buy kitchen knives for $1000 why this is a surprise.

Have you guys ever thought about that this can be a money laundering deal. Yeah its a legit sale but seriously can a rice cooker cost $1300.. fishy...

Well....people pay thousands for a small shiny rock that has no practical value whatsoever...

People pay for things with paper with faces on it.

It's called intrinsic value. Look into it.

And $1300 is CHUMP CHANGE! Why not get a real rice cooker?

OP, it's made with diamonds and rubies!!!!!! Wouldn't you expect to pay more for such a bejeweled appliance?

You would have to buy some $100 per pound rice to cook in it.

What a ripoff! I wouldn't pay a penny more than $300 for shipping.
