if you go through membershipme.com, they ask for only $79.95,
How do you know which stores that they offer GC on ? I cannot find it, look like you have to be a member before they tell you which store you can buy GC on ... it's kind of iffy to me !
<< any grocery stores, e.g. Albertsons or Safeway ? >>
Nope, I only signed up cuz I definitely spend $250 at HomeDepot(essentials123 through CitiBank CSR allows HD, KMart, Toys R Us GC to be purchased). And you can get full refund of 79.95 fee IF CANCEL BEFORE 6 months is up. And you will eventually get the $50 Savings Bond(worth $25(1/2 face value)initially as all EE Savings Bonds are)
Looked at one place, and you are limited to a maximum of $250 of gift certificats per store. If that is correct, it may not be worth the hassle.

yeah, that would be too much of a hassle.
Is there any store that does not have this limit?

I am a member of galleria they have a limit of 500.00 per retailer. I have saved lots I spend over 1000.00 at home depot and lowes. Just bought a camcorder at cc saved an extra 100.00 using gift cards. I usually buy my cards all at once and just use them throughout the year.

I am a member of Galleria. I got $100 back in Grocery purchase coupons - you need to send in the grocery recipts for refund. They refund in the order of $10, $20, $30 and $40. I got all of them and got a $25 gift card for Home Depot. So, basically I got $125 back after paying the $139.99 member ship fee. And so far I purchased about 25 gift cards (each $25) with 20% discount i.e. $125 refunded back to my credit card.
Total fee paid is 139.99 Total got back is 125+125=250.00 so approx. $100 savings so far.
The only problem is they have a limited list of merchants. The list includes KB Toys,Linens n things, Babies r us, Borders, Toys r us,Circuit city, K-mart, JCPenny( can also be used in Eckerd),Media Play,Brookstone,Watch Station, Zales,Dress Barn,Lane Bryant,Dillards,Home Depot, Lowe's,Target etc..
<I want instant savings> You get the 20% Savings via credit card Credit for each Gift Card that you purchase. The $100 grocery rebate is a separate Galleria membership bonus that they only offer you if you call to cancel; so you can basically ignore it.
<Most importantly, which program offers WalMart Gift Cards?> I have yet to find a program that does

According to the post above about galleria, the savings are NOT instant. You pay the full price then get the refund after you submit your receipts. That's what I understood as kcube put it.
As I read kcube's post again, it's confusing. Better call up galleria and ask.
<< <Most importantly, which program offers WalMart Gift Cards?> Nobody >>
Any proofs?
You posted above asking if galleria offers Sears gift card. So... I don't see how you are so sure that nobody offers WalMart gc. Did you call up everybody and asked them or what?

I see on eBay people sell multiple high priced gift cards does anyone know where they can buy them?

They dont tell you all the merchants before you sign up; thats just how it is. I dont think any of these have the 6 month refund guarantee like essentials123, but they seem to let you purchase 30 gift cards per retailer; essentials only lets you purchase 10.
<< According to the post above about Galleria, the savings are NOT instant. You pay the full price then get the refund after you submit your receipts >>
Savings are NOT instant. Takes about 30 days to receive $5 per gift card purchased, credited to the credit card used to purchase the Gift Card(s).
The sending in of receipts is a completely separate $100 bonus when you call in and want to cancel the service. You will never know about if you dont call in and try to cancel.
I got a spam to join the "Simple Escapes" one on the dealpass.com site. There is a promotion for a $25 KMart gift card and if you goto the promotion and then close the window, a pop up shows up for 2 $25 gift cards for signing up for the 30 trial membership. I signed up and will cancel early next month before the 30 days. We'll see how it goes. By the way, the yearly fee for this one is $139 and there's a limit of $700 in giftcards/year, some deal ayy! Let's see, 20%($5/$25 GC, $2/$10 GC) of $700 is $140. You can get movie tickets for $4.50, but that about all the 30 days is good for. They won't credit your acount with money back from giftcards until after they charge you $139. Link is below.
Its a $700 limit per retailer, meaning a potential saving of $140 per retailer ? So if you need to buy a lot and shop a lot with each retailer, the savings can add up. Still trying to get that pop up you got for 2 $25 KMart gift cards; never heard of any 2 gift card bonus for signing up before.

Did anyone find a way to purchase gift cards without a number limit? What about contacting the merchant directly and buying a large volume with a discount? Can it be pulled? Any other ideas?

Did you find how to buy gift cards for above stores with no limit on the cards purchased? What is this list?

What did you find out when you called the merchant ?

I don't see anywhere on Essentials123 stating 6 months trial membership?
Can someone find out which website offers the most discount per store? I only see 15 gift certificates at Connections123, but they dont mention $50 GC, only $25 and $10.
I called citi, and they are now not willing to be involved with this. They just gave me the phone # to essentials. If you search on google, you will see consumer complaints about essential123.com.
After 5 1/2 months, I canceled using essentials123 automated phone system, and my CitiBank credit card was credited the 79.99 fee in 2 days. So I cannot really complain. Only limitation is that a max of 10 gift cards per participating merchant (Home Depot etc) could be purchased, and this was enforced.
You can buy most retailer gift cards for 80% face or less on eBay. Go to ebay's search and enter retailer's name and word gift.
For example, office depot gift

Well, I tried with 2 merchants I was interested in and there replies are a little suprising.
Nordstrom would give 10% discount on the gift card purchase of 100,000 or more. Costco would not give any discount. I asked the guy at Costco if he is aware of eBay sellers with cards at 10% discount. He said the company is aware but they COULD NOT find the source of where the cards are coming from and their guess is either the seller is loosing money (RIGHT!!! or it is some kind of fraud. (He claimed that Costco does not sell the cards below the value to anybody)
Moreover, I tried to contact one the guys who used to sell a lot of gift cards on eBay trying to purchase his secret from him - he replied that he is not interested in selling it .
<< I asked the guy at Costco if he is aware of eBay sellers with cards at 10% discount. >>
I only see auctions selling a $200 CostCo CashCard for $189.99, a 5% discount. I can get for 189.99 without auction.

1. How can you get it? 2. I talked to the guy and he is offering to sell me the cards offline for 10% discount. I am sure he gets them for 20% off or more.
The 2% executive card rebate is exluding gift cards.

No way to convert. You can enter all into your account for personal use so they don't get lost. But once redeemed, that's it. Shouldn't be hard to sell as a 'lot sale' either on eBay or Cardavenue.
