I have the same S105, T-Mobile unlocked my code. I was able to use Cingular SIM with my phone in US. But when I tried in India , I tried all the Service Provider none of them worked for me. That Sales Person said "Here the frequency is different, you need to "UNLOCK FREQUENCY CODE", That guy demanded Rs2000/- to do that I bought a new phone by paying Rs5000/-. I gave that phone to my uncle when I left India.
Later I called T-Mobile they said my phone can't be used in India as the phone is not designed for that frequency ?
Does anyone have any idea ? |

to unlock nokia 3650 on AT&T, there is a little trick. the code generated by that prog won't work. to my understanding, there is no way to unlock t68i simply by entering codes. you need to use cable... best way is to go to a cell phone shop and apy themto do it for you.. |

I seem to be able to unlock my ATT 3650 using a different code generator. If you post or PM me your IMEI and carrier (just in case it's not ATT) and I'll get back to you when I get a chance. It's better to PM since I don't want to scroll through all the pages to find your IMEI. |

I tried the program on my Nokia 6610. Compared the results to the unlock code I received from T-Mobile yesterday by email (which I used to unlock the phone). The results did *not* match. YMMV. I tried a few programs like this prior to emailing T-Mobile, and received code errors. T-Mobile sent my code in less than 24 hours. I had the phone for 3 weeks, but I've been a customer for 6 years.
Also, you have from 3 to 5 chances to get it right or your phone can only be unlocked by cable. For most, unlocking the phone is not necessary. It does help the resale value if you want to dump it on eBay at a later date. A phone locked to a single carrier is not as valuable as one unlocked where it can be used on T-Mobile, ATT or Cingular. Wider audience.
