The Dell 600M and 700M also have dual layer NEC ND-6100 Drives.

You can do a firmware flash to burn +/- media with the 6500 firmware from the Dangerous Brothers. I have it burning the RICOHJPNR01 (RIDATA from Amazon) and MUST001 (cheapo media from Shop4tech) media flawlessly at 4x and 2x respectively.

Is this hard drive (E7K60) going to fit into the 600m? The part no. is A0398345. Also what's the difference between E7K60 (A0398345) and 7K60 (A0398344)? Thanks in advance!
