Does it support scaning multiple pages automatically into some software?

forgive me if this question is too stupid....!

no, black and white only. It can send color faxes, but only has a black toner.
I'm probably gonna get one of these to replace my HP laserjet 5m

50% off on a color laser printer would be really smokin!

wow great deal.

I got in this deal the last time it came around and I like the printer. The only thing that pisses me off is sometimes the fax line picks up when I'm on a call.....otherwise I love it

Wow, it picks up when you're in the middle of a call?

For me, I was fustrated beyond belief for the first few weeks because sometimes the scanner would work, and sometimes I would get the infamous "Port is disabled" error message. I figured out that the culprit was my dial-up internet and having the 1600n hooked up to the same phone line. When the printer should have said "Ready - Toner xx%" it would say something like "begin dialing to send a fax" and wouldn't let me scan. If I disconnected from my ISP, however, scanning worked fine, and the printer would idle at the "Ready" state. I don't do much faxing anyway, so now I just don't leave the phoneline connected to the 1600n.

I noticed that free shipping didn't show up at first but when I removed and re-added the printer, then it showed free shipping. Just had to pay $9.xx tax.

wow hurts eBay sales

I couldn't help it. I ordered one. It let's me get rid of my fax machine, printer, and scanner.

And if I sell those, it should drop the price further and I get back all this space. And we FW'ers certainly need space!

They charge $35 shipping for me too in SoCal.
