If undefined had posted the original altercation with the store manager, allowed ppl to post their comments, but had otherwise NOT talked to the press or anyone else...where might have this led?
I can believe that if any damages were caused, a good attorney would jump at this. However, the matter is that the store manager should be FIRED. Secondly, the corporate practices of CCity should change so this doesn't happen again. Thirdly, and most importantly, the customer IS always right. Why have we forgotten that as Americans? American consumer spending makes up 2/3 of the economy. Notice I used the work American. No matter how many tourists or foreign companies you bring into the mix, without us taxpaying American spending our money, the econony would go belly up quite fast.

It is sad that ppl who otherwise did not know undefined (and didnt' bother to read his posts, so as to 'judge' his demeanor) posted degrading statements on the thread. They insinuated that somehow he provoked the manager or created the incident with his own actions. Let me tell those individuals that there are certain Constitutional rights that we have as Americans. When corporate bullies can make mistakes (although I would call it more of a mental lapse rather than a simple mistake) and get away with it, do we have anymore rights? Can a company make a sale and then turn around and say, "Oh sorry, that was a price error. We haven't made enough money off it to sell it to you. Return it now and we'll issue a refund."

The day that we begin trusting our own judgment and stop going negative whenever someone does something we find against our values, the better off society will truly become. Politics = many blood sucking insects. Take the politics out of your words and act fairly, based on the facts and not just quick judgments.
