512-652-9015 is this the number to Offergift.com? Is it free? I remember is the original topic that 2 phone numbers to offergift/anyfreegift were posted and only one of them were free.

Crap! There was a lot of good info in the original thread... where did it go? I am about to start pestering offergift to see if they received my certificates yet. I hope to have my ipod by March considering I started in October of 2004.

I'm curious. Do you just sign up for 5 offers and get the free stuff. Or do you also have to sign up friends and have friends sign up for offers?

Actually, it's only 3 offers, and no, you do not have to convince other people to sign up.

When fw said that the rewards category would be archived, I took that to mean that the archive would be searchable. Like looking through the libraries archives. Is all that info gone for good?

Just to let everyone. I signed up on Anyfreegift.com for an Xbox on 8/28/04. I was approved late October and sent the certificates (certified mail)on 10/23/04. They received them on 10/27/04. I received a check for $150.00 on 12/27/04 and they apologized stating that they were having a problem getting Xboxes. Good luck to all.
You definatly have to stay on them. I statered the process in September (offergift.com). I have contact them fequently to keep up the status as they are very slow to responed.
They confirmed the receiveing date that they got my cert (11/12/04) last week and then promptly told me that there was a delay in processing the certs and now they were out of stock. They said that that they would send it out as soon as more came in.
Since that time January 4th. I have not been able to get an answer from them as I have sent several emails. I plan to keep bugging them until they give me a definate answer.

I emailed Tang to see if they had received my certificates. He/she said no but that they had printed them out and submitted them to the gift center. Now another 6-8 week wait starts. I may eventually get my mini ipod.

This is what happened to me. It took about 18 days after that, that I actually got my ipod.

Is anyone still in the waiting process for their free gift? I'm currently in the begining stages of the order process.
I signed up for a Nintendo DS @ Anyfreegift.com on December 24. Just this past sunday night my application status changed from "Pending" to "In Progress". At first when I saw it I got a bit excited to see that my order was making progress, but after reading everones' stories it seems to me that there is at leas a FIVE month wait before I can even hope to receive my order. I noticed that no one got results unless they made phone calls and sent emails every week. I'm hoping that if I start the calling and emails now I'll actually receive my DS on time, perhaps even a bit earlier than most. In fact I think I'll give Anyfreegift.com a call some time soon as I approach the six week mark from December 24 on February 4. This is my first experience ever with an online offer like this and I have no intention on getting 'stiffed' by the company/ website.

Just to let you know, as I said previously, they really do stall a lot. I finally got a respones from an email that I sent Janary 4th and was told that they did not know when stock was coming in.
The process really takes about 5 months because they say that it takes 6-8 weeks to process the certificates and 6-8 weeks (I am on week 11) to ship out the item.
Good luck in your attempts and I hope that it is faster for you.. Started September and still waiting.

thanx buddy. I've been sending messages throughout last week to Anyfreegift.com through the contact page on their website asking them why is it that my applications have not been approved yet. It seemed like I'd never get a response. Then thursday the 20th came.
this is the response I got from Anyfreegift.com after trying to contact them through their website about a million times:
-----
Hello,
It can take up to 6-8 weeks for us to receive confirmation from our sponsors that you have completed an offer. Sometimes a sponsor will inform us that you have initiated an offer, at which time your status will change to "in progress". After we receive confirmation that the offer has been completed, the status will change to "approved".

It makes no sense to me. Seeing that the sponsors have already contacted Anyfreegift.com to inform them that an offer was 'initiated', it makes no sense that Anyfreegift.com wouldn't be notified that the offer was completed 5 minutes later. There seems to be a time lapse of some sort that shouldn't be there. I don't think it takes a month to confirm that an offer was completed a mere 5 minutes after it was initiated. I'll I think I'll be contacting Anyfreegift.com again very soon.
I just checked my email and I just got a response back from another message I sent them. You'll never guess what the message says. Exactly what you see above. I don't even think The messages are being read. I think it's time for me to pick up the phone.

They will probably make you wait out the 6-8 weeks before they do anything about your status. But if you want, you could start forwarding the e-mails you received from when you signed up for the offers to anyfreegift as proof.

I gave them about three weeks and then I started trying to contact them. I recieved another message from Jen of the Anyfreegift.com User Support staff. this is what it said:
------ Hello,
Please remember that you must be an active member for at least 45 days before you are eligible for your gift card. After that 45 day period a link in your Account page (<http://www.AnyFreeGift.com/status_form.jsp> that says "Approved" will appear next to that offer. Click on the link and an Approval Email will be sent to you for verification and security purposes. Click on the link in the Approval Email and you will be asked to enter your name and mailing address.
Please be aware that you must complete two (2) offers in order to receive your gift.
Once you submit the requested information, a Free Gift Certificate will be generated. Print out the certificate and mail it to:
AnyFreeGift.com Gift Center PO Box 390520 Mountain View, CA 94039-0520
Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery of your free Gift.

Although it isn't a gift card that I ordered, I think that her message is a bit more helpful than Erics. Jen says it takes about 45 days and although I still don't think it should take that long, it gives me a date to look forward to. I've already marked my calender and on the 45th day I'll be calling and emailing Anyfreegift.com about the status of my application.

Well, the former thread originally disappeared, so this one was started, but now that one is back. Turns out the original thread was the only hit that contained any real substance to it when googling for "offergift.com"

What up folks. I've been following your stories for a while now. I started my offergift.com thang on 12/7/04. I finally got approved for only TWO of THREE applications. What a suprise. I've emailed them twice now (once tonight) and hope they gimme a break. I had success with AOL MusicNet and MiracleBurn, but ReaRhapsody has yet to come through. This Tang character... he/she seems like a sketchy character, however, I am compelled by the other members here offers being completed after dozens of emails/phone calls. Will definately keep updates of progress/lack of progress. Peace. BTW, yahoo does not block their certificate links, meaning, I can print the two anytime now. Mike
I started the process with anyfreegift.com on 12/7. I got the apporved status 2 days ago but the links were not sending the email. I called customer service and recieved the links immediately. I have printed the certificates and they are now in the mail.

Well, after one email, Tang told me there was no record of using RealRhapsody. So, I went ahead and sent him a picture of my desktop (using the 'PrtScrn' button, and pasting it into paint, which makes it a bitmap). After no reply to that, a went ahead and sent him another email today from RealRhapsody customer support, stating I had signed up for the RealRhapsody 14 day free trial through the NetBlue company). If no replys till the end of the week, I'm calling them...and if that doesn't go... hello BBB... I'll be back with an update... grr.. btw, the email is support_tier1@offergift.com

I sent my certs. in 3 weeks ago and have e-mailed offergift as to whether or not they have been received. I received this response everytime they replied:
----- Hello,
It is too soon to confirm the receipt of the certificates as your information has not yet been entered into our database.
Processing times are currently a minimum of 6-8 weeks from when the certificates are received by the gift center. If you do not receive your gift by then please contact us.
Thank you, Tang Offergift.com Support -----

I am not sure how you were actually able to get your Ipod from Offergift.com. They only give me the run around. It took them 8 week to confirm that they had actually received the certs and they actually told me what day they received them.
Now all I get is they are having delays in processing, we are out of stock, and the most recent is that if the 8 week period had passed to reply to the message with my name and shipping address and they would investigate.
I have done all of that and i still can not get anywhere with them. They just give me the run around and even after they told me they would investigate they came back to the exuse of processing delays. We are starting week 12 as they confirmed receipt on November 12th. I am going to call them shortly as i don't think they really look at the email requests.

I've been following these post since Sept, I registered for offer gift and signed up for BMG, Columbia house and Discovercard. It took about 8 weeks and 5 emails but it should up approved. After I printed and mailed in the vouchers. It took about another 11 weeks and I just received my Mini IPod yesterday. You have to email them at least once a week for your status. 5 months = free ipod not to bad. it works...

Glad to see this discussion is back.
I'm still "confirmed" on all 3 offers for offergift.com, as of 9/25/04. Meaning I've already sent them the certificates and they have acknowledged that... I'm wondering if I should start the phone calls and e-mailing right about now. Yeah I think so... it's been over 12 weeks. I'll update what happens.

Well I just got off the phone with a nice lady from Offergift and she's putting me on the "Expedited list"... as soon as their next order gets in they would ship mine, which should take "2 to 4 weeks".
how long did it take you guys to get the original confirmation email? I haven't even been able to get that (the one that you use to set up your password for your account).

If I recall correctly it was within a couple of minutes.
On a different note, does anyone know if I could sign up for everyfreegift.com if I already signed up for offergift.com? TIA.

I have been considering doing some of the offers to get an Ipod and maybe a gift card from another site. I do have some questions:
With the Columbia House DVD and DoubleDay books offers, do you have to join or can you just send them back?
Any help would be appreciated. Hopefully this isn't a dead thread and that someone will respond soon.
