I have been with T-Mobile since they were voice stream.I have never heard anyone desciribe them as (exceptional) They are the worst. They never honor their rebates. takes an hour to get to 3rd teir suport after dealing with techs that read answers off of their screen. Plus they just plain LIE to you they sold me the hp6315 after my treo was replace for known problems three times. Telling me there were no known isues with the phone latest and geratest Ha Its almost a year and the buletooth still doesn't work which they have known from the start.
So good luck getting an unlock code from them I do not belive they will give you one theres no reason for them to its the way all the co. keep costmers. Best bet is to google unlock and the make of your phone.
Never heard anyone describe tmo as exceptional? Check out howardforums, I'd say it's closer to no one who HASN'T described them as exceptional.
Were you NICE to the CSRs, or did you come in there like they owed you something? Have you used an other wireless companies, and spent a few days on hold and listening to them tell you "screw you, you're in a contract"?
I have personal gotten unlock codes from Tmo with no problem whatsoever. Granted you have to know what to say (I'm doing some international travelling in the future...), but after that it's so easy to do. Plus, T-Mobile is the ONLY US service provider who won't laugh in your face if you ask for the unlock code.
You're either a)not calling with the right attitude ("you never honor your rebates...arr!" is NOT the way to get them to do you favors) b)don't know what you're talking about (of COURSE they're going to want to give you a different phone after you've had problems 3 times with the treo! It's YOUR responsibility to find out potential problems with the substitute, they're not going to say "want this buggy POS instead?") c)don't have anything to compare it to (you've been with them since voicestream, why haven't you checked out some of the other providers and their infinite hold loops? An hour with tmo is nothing, plus you could have just asked for the first two techs supervisor and skipped all the screen reading no problem)
Have you ever been to hofo or another mobile forum? I bet after an hour of two or reading you could fix that bluetooth problem within 30 seconds. T-Mobile can't fix every little issue for you. You should be grateful they'll even try.
