I have tried most of programs and using different name, phone, credit cards, etc. It does not work (it will give me some kind of error message with error code I could not remember after I clicked submit) unless I change the address. I used my sister's address and it called me said this address does not match the one registered with my credit card and canceled my account. Anyone got the same problem? I still can not figure out how to by pass this problem. Any help or comment is appreciated. If nothing works out I guess only thing I can do is join Everydayvaluesgold since I got the citi card or join something else not offered by membershipme.com.

You can legitimately sign up for all the programs. But if you try to sign up for the same program again, I found the Phone Number being the key - it is not checked against the credit card, so use a cell phone number or something. The name and address should match the credit card used. I have found that I can re-signup with the same name when the phone number is different. I had to do this because the Galleria free trial through netflip was only 7 days, and later I found a link to get a 30-day free trial.

rugrats said:Thank you for the answer. Can I use a Virtual Credit card number, like the one from citi card?

I always use the Citi virtual credit card to sign up and limit the amount to say $3, so that I don't accidentally get charged for renewal. Be careful when you use the virtual card number in the actual purchases, as the expiration date is usually the next month. If you have any problem with the gift cards (e.g. we had $250 Circuit City gift cards stolen from our mailbox one time), they would try to credit it back to the credit card used for the purchase. Also, I found that when I get a credit on a virtual credit card number, the CitiVAN software seems to have a bug of showing it as a positive amount (like a charge) instead of a negative amount (like a credit). But the credit does show up properly on my real account.

lostdude said:Thanks OP. I tried to read the old thread but give up after 10 pages.

Note: I followed your instruction for n00bs. Signed up for VM, cancelled it via phone since I can't find an online way to cancel it and was not offered FTS. Signed up for TE but didn't see anything good except Target, will cancel that as well. I might try MSS next since they got HD and Sears (I need tools).

I signed up for VM. Didn't see the daily Escape offer. Only the shopping links. Waste $1 so far.

Looks like I am going to try the more advanced & real program.

So how do one sign up for EVG? It sounds like program that I might actually like to pay for.

That's just what I want to ask. I go to their home page but can't find the join-in place. Can anyone tell me (and lostdude)?

Click this read the first post then click the links posted within it to found out more . NO UNLIMITED gift cards for sears usually 500/750 max per club.

If you don't have time to do that then, do what member psubill78 said.

No luck with OP's HW+ link above. All I get is "YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO VIEW THIS PAGE." Did you mean 24+ or is there another HW+ link I need to search harder for?

Both MSS (Main Street SAving) and TE (Today's Escape) have Amazon.com right NOW (5/9/05). MSS links is at the OP and TE using OP's newbie steps (NetFlip -> VM -> TE)

I assume those cards are at least $20/each.
