Only a couple of hours playing with my new 700m and I already got my first Blue Screen
Anyway, I had a DVD+RW full of data burned with Nero on my other computer. And the 700m recognizes it but can't explore it. My external burner connected to it has no problem. Any ideas?

I got my 700m today. When I ordered I accidentally selected AOL free 6 month ISP (default choice). I have DSL so I don't need this. But I heard horrible AOL stories that it kept charging customers even after they cancelled. If I don't register, I should be ok, right? Never used Dell's free isp trial membership before.

Yea they forced me to pick either aol or earthlink though i want neither.....just delete it and all its remnants in the registry.

My FatCash did not show up either. I can see my click history. What is going on?

You have to be patient. Last time I ordered from D3ll on jan 25, the FatCash was reported from d3ll to fatwallet on feb 17. And it was just available for cash out last week.

it use to be faster w/ my previous Dell purchases. But since nobody get theirs show up yet, I guess it's normal this time?

I have a 700M that the boss wont let me have

If someone wants it, PM me otherwise it's going back to Dell.

when you say "the boss", you actually mean your wife, right?

Don't understand where you guys aren't seeing the eBay profit. I see quite a few Dell 6000s being sold with the upgraded screen, the DVD burner, 512MB, etc. selling for well over $1000. Some over $1200 with other extras like the upgraded battery.

The 6000 seems to be going fairly well, but the 700Ms are going for right about the purchase price from the deal ~$800. Add in listing and final value fees and you break about even. Peronally, I'd rather sell it to someone here who may have missed the deal than go to eBay or send it back to Dell.

Me too, well you don't get it right now though. It's not available in 6 months I think but $27 back is very nice.

Did you guys check FatCash for those transactions? I ordered 8 laptops from 2 $750 off $1500 deals in May and June, but none of them give me FatCash.

How about you guys?
