When you guys are talking about buying this, i get the feeling you are purchasing for a computer monitor in contrast to a regular use telly. What differences should I look for if I am going to purchase one for the latter purpose.

Thanks

Stuart

I think I'm just retarded, but I can't find the proview 32 listed on their website. Are the people who are talking about ordering it online crazy?

I think that only 37" 1080p can be used for PC
as 32" has way low resolution for PC (who cares about 768?)

That's the horizontal resolution.

If someone gets the actual specs and posts them I think I'll have to swap!

I'm thinking of doing the same with the 26" Maxent I bought about 2 months ago. I like the Maxent and have had no problems but and extra 6" for the same price would be nice. I'll need to compare the specs.

I've never seen the B&M sale units on the website. I think you have to go to the store to get the coupon price.

If you sign up in the store right now you can get the coupon booklet at the sign up desk. But hurry in because their supplies are limited and on a FCFS basis.

The coupon or the monitor is on a FCFS basis?
I guess the potential risk is spending $45 to join then not being able to get the monitor if they're out.

No risk at all. You can even return the membership.

Can't get any better than this to join them and get in on the deal then return the membership for a full refund.

It's very subjective, but would you run anything in less then 1280 x 1024 res.?
with wide screen it transforms to 13xx+ x 1024+ for screens that supports 1080p
that where you can see / play your games.
My point is to have just one "monitor" for both PC and TV use - as anyway all going to PC (multiformat DVD/DivX, PVR, etc.) as that monitor cost so much.

Otherwise - 32" just for TV and another 24" just for PC for the cost of one 37"
that's very subjective of what you are expect from a Monitor and how it be used.

any comments?

my 2c.

Stupid Q-
Is this currently in store or not? Don t know how to purchase and return/buy without it being there.........

alert mods

I was there over the weekend, and it is NOT in the stores yet. It should be there by 7/5...I hope!

The coupon says "also available at costco.com". So I would expect it to show up online at some point.

Looking for some info here:

If you were to buy this before the sale date (assuming they do have it in stores by then), would you be able to get the coupon amount back as a PM later?

Sure you can do a price adjustment. I did this a few times before.

What if I don't like it, can I return to costco without restocking fee? I have a Sharp 26, don't know how Proview compare to the Sharp in picture and build quality... thanks

I think costco will return 100% money back including S/H fee when you bring it back to the store

i got full refund including S/H two years back - hope nothing changed.
To be safe ask your local store.

Well a price adjustment is different from a coupon. Someone mentioned in another thread having to return and rebuy to get the coupon price. I'd rather not do that.
