IMHO you have to look at who's selling and who's offering the rebate.
Buy.com makes 7 bucks.
CP Technologies eats $10.
This is how companies get their product out there and they offer rebates to companies to help sell it.
I say this deal will live and rebates will come... |

The rebate is done through a rebate processing center so I wouldn't worry too much. It's not in-house. I don't really care for the illumination, just the fact that it would be FAR. That's most impt.
