Plus there's that thing called sales tax which for some reason is never included in any cost here on FW, even though most of us pay it.

We assume people are smart enough to figure that out on their own...are we wrong to assume that?
Besides, not every state charges sales tax.
Think about it this way--does Wal-Mart (or any other store for that matter) advertise in their sales flyers the prices w/ tax included? Of course not...does the price sticker on a new/used car in a lot say the price including tax? NO! Why? Because, along with death, it's the other thing that's guaranteed in this life...
It has been ooos for quite sometime for me, actually since yesterday morning. before price was even changed to 29 dollars from 59 dollars.

i don't believe in rating threads and posts but it's no good on my mom's computer against the imiserv virus (it couldn't delete, just find/alert?), plus after i uninstalled it/installed mcafee, mcafee killed two more (html trojans) was very depressed that it took mcafee to do it. wondering what else has gotten through that firewall.
"Why wasn't this posted on FW earlier?"
because the epayers didn't think they could make money off of the deal?
still a good deal for somebody with no protection at all. peace and thanks to the original poster
If you have RoadRunner the entire EZArmor package (AV, rebadged Zone-Alarm Pro FW and Pest Patrol) is free. I am on my second year using the AV and FW and it works great. I haven't installed the Pest Patrol since Spywareblaster has been keeping my machine clean for several years now.

Thanks OP! Didn't realize that it's on their weekly ad too. Rebate form printed out at the register. Have to buy it in store in order to use my free giftcard from Citibank. Not sure if the rebate for Pricegrabber will work since it is not for bundle software. Anyway will give it a try.

I use this firewall. I don't recommend this if you use P2P programs a lot like emule or limewire: this firewall becomes a MEMORY HOG trying to maintain a watch over all the connections. I have to shut it off when I use P2P.

May be "instore only". I purchased two of these FAR as fillers for LX500 with separate $15 off 75 coupons. I have two legitimate addresses. Before 7/15 I got EZ Armor, and today the bundle. If you look around the software. there are also $20 upgrade rebates to CA EZ Armor with competitor upgrades from Symantec, McAfee and Zonealert "any" security software.
First rebate form was taped to EZ Armor, second I pulled from EZ Antivirus, After paying about $3 for each LX500 AR, I will net $17 x 2 with CA rebates.
These require cutout SKU from box, but will work with Staples EZ rebates online submission. Go to stapleseasyrebates.com and search for "computer associates".

They are totally different products but they are attempting to accomplish the same thing - prevent spyware from loading. I have never had spyware except for the occasional tracking cookie since loading Spywareblaster a couple of years ago and I don't see any need at this time to eat up resources using a redundant application.
I do clean up a bunch of spyware where I work and I'd bet 95% of it is because the user purposely loaded it without realizing the consequences.

Attach the following required proof of purchase for eTrust Armor/Pest Patrol Bundle: Copy or Original UPC Store Receipt =====================
Even thou, it says, "Store Receipt", I am assuming that the rebate is valid for online/phone order purchase also!
where does it say that? i can't find a good description of what we need to send in on the rebate form.
It says so on the final rebate form printed out on the StaplesEasyRebates.com web-site, and you submit your details.

Does this include the firewall/antivirus? The company's website made it sound like that software was separate from this bundle.
Update: Looks like EZ Armor is the combination of firewall/antivirus:
When it comes to online security, eTrust™ EZ Armor™is your complete solution, combining top-ranked eTrust™ EZ Antivirus with business-strength eTrust™ EZ Firewall.
Sorry for not seeing that before... disregard question.
naterator said: Does anyone still have a scan of the UPC for this rebate? I did it when it came back a few weeks ago and just got the Missing Copy or Original UPC eTrust Armor/Pest Patrol Bundl Missing: UPC
message from Parago... PM me if you can help me out... thx. Did you call? They will often approve stuff like that over the phone. Besides, are you trying to tell us that you submitted a rebate and did not save a copy?? Shame on you!
BTW, the most recent rebate for this only required a copy of the UPC. I sent that and my rebate is showing as valid! I ended up generating 3 online forms and sending all 3 with copies of receipt and UPC in the same envelope. All 3 are valid.
