Offer valid only for U.S. residents and only where service is available. Limit one device per current Apex client. Offer expires 6/30/2005. Valid only with a new line of voice and data service activated on a qualifying rate plan for a one-year minimum service agreement.
Edited after reading T&C. I'm assuming "no contract" mentioned above refers to the data plans?

Special Offer from Xview for Ameritrade Apex?Clients
Glad I sold mine last week.. I think the 6315 is a great unit and worked well.. But with Verizon's "broadband access, I had to switch.. Good phone for you if you don't have verizon broadband in your area.. Although the verizon "slow" net access is faster than T-Mobile's only speed net access...
OMG..just placed an order..total came to 106.7...just added to the existing line..thanz a lot OP....i hope i can get the HP rebate ( anyone sees any problem for the rebate) and would be able to downgrade the data plan and a cool bluetooth headset...hmmmmm
how is it 50$ to existing coustomer??? i paid 107$
I'm a TMO2Go customer, should I order a new line or upgrade my old one?

Only unlockable through the carrier and after at least 3 or so months. MAKE SURE YOUR TOTAL BILL FOR MINIMUM SERVICE IS A VOICEPLAN NOT INCLUDING THE DATA. I got screwed by tmobile on this phone for a rebate because my total $$ amount didn't satisfy the rebate.... Found out that the voice plan is what they want. No where in the fine print did they state that.

The CSR will usually turn you down on unlocking the phone atleast until after 3 months...but a possible argument that usually works is that you are going overseas on a "business trip" and that it is the only reason why you even bought this phone.

Boing....worked like a charm! 1 year activation - ~$106 after tax - can also port my number. Too bad I have to pay a disconnect fee with Sprint. Ah well...$150 is worth it!

ok understood. but in buying this ipaq, will my 1-yr contract start afresh starting today or will my existing contract expire in feb 2006 ? T-Mobile reception is terrible in my area and I cannot wait to leave T-mo. my communication with people has fallen by 70%

Excuse my ignorance. But could anybody please help me out here...I am lost. I am a tmobile customer, currently in the last month of my contract. So I call the tmobile guys and ask them for the IPAQ. So I have to signup for the data plan, How long do I need to be paying for the dataplan? Can I downgrade it once I get my rebate of $50? Do I need to extend my contract for a year? Please explain.
Thanks in advance to anybody who is willing to help me out here.

Called the CSR and confirmed price at $99.99 but he said that I have to open up a new line of service, so I am assuming the 1 year would apply. Is this correct?
Did anybody get this phone with an existing line?
Thanks.
