Finally get my BT headset today. Shipped 12/02 to TX took 2 weeks. Best deal after all it cost me only $8.24 for tax.

Hurray!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got both (second one to a different address) my BT headsets today. Shipped on 12/2. Now, should make them work.

Most of the reviews on Amazon are not good, what do the guys here on FW have to say about it? I know, what gives it's a free piece, but still would like to know some reviews.

Wow, this thing works great.

Now, can somebody please tell me how to use it with my laptop so that I can listen to songs or do voice chat on messenger, etc. I have a USB bluetooth adapter.

use the software that comes with your adapter and the process is pretty much the same. Put the headset in discovery mode and then set the laptop to find for it. Then you should be able to go into your audio properties and change the input from your sound card to the headset. G/L

The sound quality is good enough for phone conversation. But listening songs? faint.

I live in So Cal. Shipped 12/2/05. Received 12/19/05.

I'm not too crazy about the unit. I normally carry my phone in the holster in the battery-saving/screen off mode. I wish I could launch MS Voice Command from my headset while the iPaq is still in the holster. However, it seems that this is not possible as the iPaq cannot maintain a bluetooth connection while in the low-power mode.

Oh well.

Still waiting on the rebate, they deliced it saying its out of purchase date even though I got it on 7/29/05. I didn't know HP was going to be this bad with the rebate. I only faxed and wrote to them 3 times after my initial submission.

I received the headset 2 weeks ago though.

How is the unlock phone working? Will it unlock if you have firmware 1.11?

Working fine for me...w/ Cingular SIM.
No problemo...the SP/SIM-unlock has nothing to do w/ the F/ware version.

Do what I did...write the date on it. Or you could use your printer. Who are they to argue on who wrote it on there?

So I went to Vegas this weekend, and cracked my iPAQ screen... It was still in the standard case/holster; I guess I leaned against something too hard and applied pressure to the screen.

Anywhow, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.

1) Do I try to late enroll the phone in the T-mo Equipment plan?
2) Do I replace the screen like user:broken6315 did?
3) Sell it on eBay with a broken screen?
4) Repair/replace by HP?

Thoughts, comments?

About the bluetooth headset, mine need to input the "0000" password each time for the headset to connect.How to ignore the password input?
