A 5sp corolla would be my first choice. The transmission on this car is top notch. No wonder its the world alltime best seller
Focus is a good choice too. Great car for someone looking for cheap transportation. I had a '92 that had 184K miles on it when I sold it. The car got great gas mileage, NEVER broke down, had a bit of pep and drove like a snowmobile in the snow. Just make sure you change the oil every 15k miles whether it needs it or not. |

There is also another one - with the same equipment/mileage, but it isn't certified and doesn't have a 'warranty'. How much would that deduct from the price?

I got another internet quote for $24,492for a 2003 with 14,000 miles. Is $22,000 too much? Their final offer is 23,469 plus tax title. So, I guess they are out of the running. Edmunds Link
