I always knew when Black Friday was, but I never knew what Black Friday meant.
Good day for deals but past experience tells me I'm going to keep my eyes shut this year.
Have fun in the mayhem for me! |

It is amazing when people will start lining up for Black Friday deals even when they are not barn burners. Last year a few people where at BB at 9pm the night before and if you were not there by 3am you got nothing. I went to another store (not BB, CC, W-M, officeM, OfficeD) that opened at 8, got there just after 7 and was second inline, and got one of the best deals on a digital camera around that day.
2003 was a good year, $10 scanner, free ram, usb drives, free walkie talkies etc.
last year was only decent, and BB and CC were overrated.
that Wal-Mart laptop is good but not super, there have been decent Toshiba's with trubrite screens and free printers and some other stuff for only $100 more 2 months ago.

Yeah, with a crap load of rebates to front. The best part about the WalMart deal is no rebates to deal with. |

CompUSA has Viao for 299.99, that could be a hot deal. I just hope the price is right. Can use the samsung 17" LCD for BVG, since ther is no rebate. |

Well as far as lcd deals they are showing the LT32HV for 999 after a $300 dollar mail in mfg rebate. Pretty good, but since this is a mfg rebate, I assume you can use it with any store. Meaning since the LT32HV is being sold online at many places for 1050 to 1100 shipping included, you could end up getting one for 750 with no tax, granted Syntax is slow with rebates.
CompUSA is also showing sales and rebates for the other sizes, but the savings aren't quite as impressive, but still noteworthy. No, these aren't quite the latest models, but they have gotten fairly positive reviews compared to some of the other low priced lcd deals we have seen....Sears will have a 32 inch protron on black friday for 799 but I am more confident with the syntaxs.
Now anyone know when the new rebates will be available? |

All the Syntax rebates I've seen have been store specific. |
