One of my fav parts of BF is watching all the people that show up 30mins before the store opens thinking they were all slick and seeing the disbelieve on thier faces as they turn around after seeing the 200 people standing in line.

So get thier HOURS before the store opens.

actaully last BF i went to BB just 10 mins before they opened and i was the 4th in line
soo bad that i dont live there anymore, i was the only FWer there ohhh so bad

I'm surprised more people haven't heard about it here, I mentioned it in at least a few threads.

If you don't want to register, it's probably a noname 42 inch plasma EDTV as opposed to an hdtv for 997. Appears to be a regional flyer, so it may not be in all stores, but you may be able to order it online.

so far, i think Staples is the only store is offering far items on black friday. far items: 6-sheet strip cut shredder, att corded phone, gbc 9" laminator, and zoom 56k modem. i think the gbc laminator is pretty good for far.

also 200gb internal pata maxtor for $29.98, and that 20" lcd tv for 299.98. i forgot if its ar or not.

Speak for yourself, some of us CAN afford the TVs but saving some money along the way doesn't hurt and getting excited about BF deals is part of the game. Please keep the negativity to yourself, I look forward to Black Friday every year, and even if I don't head out to join the madness some years, it's still fun to keep an eye on the deals.
