Also store printed out another rebate of $70 visa prepaid card if you activate the service. Form ask for MAC address from label and Vonage account number. I guess you really have to activate the service, unless anyone has a better idea.
Thanks o.p
It's $75 prepaid Visa card
I grabbed one (one more left at Rockville store). The CSR freaked out when 5 rebates started printing (I also grabbed the FAR pentel pens ). She started asking me all these questions where did you find out about the deal, etc. These CSR people are really noisy sometimes! Oh, well, nice to grab some freebies.
Thanks OP
Hey,
Those who purchased in store would've got the $75 Visa card rebate, It clearly says activation is a must and limits to 1 rebate No worries, It also has printed out another rebate for me, use this offer id 05-36611 and submit the rebate online for $50 each upto 5 , I just did submit using the same offer#, I had bought 3 of them.
Cheers, com.fw.deals.dealsbaba |

I already said this back a few pages. and if ur buying 3 then u use a 30 off 150. Use the 20 off 100 if buying 2. its moot anyway as its oos unless ur B&M willa ccept coups |

Got lucky and found 3 on the shelf at my local store. I was looking for a $100+ purchase to bring my wife's Rewards account up to Gold, so this was great. They did not have any in the back . The guy couldn't understand what I was going to do with then (especially when I told him I would have taken 5 if he had more). With any luck I can find a printable 30/150 and go back and return/rebuy.
The guy claimed he could order more for me, but I suspect that is unlikely given that the website is OOS. |

OK GUYS, now that we have it, how can we remove the Vonage stuff from the unot so that we can use it with FWD or stanaphone etc? this is as much as i found so far :
The below was snagged from the Vonage forum.
The SW1 area next to the Line 1 connector internally is just a blank spot for a hardware reset (much like doing a power reset on it). I haven't tried doing an extended duration power down or a reset with it unplugged then powering up... but those are options.
The message below contains another password for gaining the web interface. Should be helpful.
Unfortunately the password didn't work for me. If it does work for someone, note the version of firmware you have. Maybe it's something we can tftp onto our own to keep things in check. Otherwise, reading the SPA-2000 manual, it does mention being able to load a config file/profile (which should contain the settings for password and such) onto the NVRAM. Question is, what does the file contain? This has to be TFTP'ed onto the PAP-2.
So... on with the show. Keep hackin, I'm sure there's a way into it. -jf

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you are like me, I cant stand it when I buy a product outright to use and a company feels like they have to own MY product. I dont think so. Anyway if you want to mess with your adapter, just make sure you know what you are doing, because Vonage locks you out of certain settings so that you wont mess them up. If you do mess them up, I wont take any of the blame considering I got this information from Vonage, Not from hacking. Hope it works for you.
Follow these step to unlock the ADMIN portion of your Web Interface Linksys PAP2 Adapter. First keep the PAP2 adapter from accessing the Internet by unplugging your the cable modem.
Now do in these steps:
Pick up your phone and dial:
**** Then dial 73738# Password is: (usually) 7756112# could be: 8995523# enter 1 to confirm press # Hang up
pick up the phone and dial **** then 7932# Password is: 78196365 Press 1 to Confirm and then hang up.
This just enabled the Web Interface if needed.
Now if you need the IP address of your PAP2 Dial **** Enter: 110# and put that number in your Web Browser You should gain access to the web server at this point.
Here is the fun stuff. Click Admin Login in the top right hand side.
I assume this is where many people have been stuck!

Tried to Follow the above steps to unlock, but ended up as below.
Powered the PAP2. connected the phone to port/phone 1.
Pick up your phone and dial:
**** Then dial 73738# Password is: (usually) 7756112# could be: 8995523# enter 1 to confirm press # Hang up
didnt enter the "****". (thought it was a seperator) Dialed 73738 and used password 7756112#. Entered 1 and then #. Hung up.
pick up the phone and dial **** then 7932# Password is: 78196365 Press 1 to Confirm and then hang up.
This just enabled the Web Interface if needed.
Followed as above, again didnt enter "****".
Connected PAP2 to router (not connected to the modem) Then dialed "****", followed by 110#
Logged into the browser using the ip.
when i clicked on the Admin login, it didnt ask me for User name/Password. i am able to change and save the settings.
