I work for a company who sells products to Sams and Wal-Mart. I believe I was told once that the Sams/WalMart corporate people were in full-on Christmas preparations in the early spring timeframe. They're so large they've got to plan this stuff 6 months in advance.

I work at Wal-Mart and I had to be in that day an hour before 6 when we opened and the line was like 200 feet. As for 24 hour Wal-Marts, they'll close on Thanksgiving and then most likely open up at 5 or 6am! |

purplehaze said:Thanks OP but looks like Im hittin CC or BB 1st and maybe stop by there after unless they open earlier.. WM always has some kinda killer secret door buster deals that are worth the wait..
Please Dont push PEOPLE and by all means never ever never leave your CART unattended!!!I seen a guy last year walk to the isle to snatch something because of traffic jams only to return to his CART picked clean...
By the way Im selling a bargain hunters toolkit after reading several threads I got the idea. I call it the George Costanza in honor of the episode where he pushed little kids and old ladies out of the way to escape a condo when a fire alarm went off.
You get for $50:
1) Fake fire alarm emitter - to be used only with the really must have items to clear store 2) Mace and pepper spray - immobilize competitors trying to get your item 3) Reversible generic store employee type shirt with name tag --- you reverse the shirt and tell stampeding shoppers that the items have been moved way to the back of the store and then run to the real location where they stack them 4) Wooden dowels to stick in wheel chair spokes of disabled people who are trying to get the same item you want 5) Braces to wear on your legs and neck brace, dark blind person sunglasses so that when you dont get the item you can tell people that you are disabled and that you saved all year to get that item from your disability checks hoping one of them will cough one up to you in sympathy

Excuse my stupidness. Are the items on the list current prices and they will be going on sale or is it the sale price for BF? I noticed that some of the items are already on sale for that price. Example 15"lcd tv for $194.00 Dora the explorer 13"tv is also $99.99 Venturer 6.2 dvd player is also $96.00
If the 15" lcd goes down to $100 that would be sweet!

I'll never forget the one year that I worked on BF at Wal-Mart. I chased carts there. At 5:00am BF morning I arrived. The parking lot was packed. We had 500+ carts at that store and you couldn't find any of them. All the customers had them. It was madness. |
