They are the same. I/O Magic and Digital Research are the same company. Just get whichever is easier for you. I don't know if both do, but the DR came with beige and black faceplates, they probably both do though if it matters. |

I want to get the Norton SystemWorks Premier 2006 SKU 615751 $89.99-$20IS-$50MIR-$20UR=FREE
Now I don't really understand something and I know it's been explained before but somehow I still can't catch on.
Ok, so only it's basically $70 and it has a Mail in rebate. I understand that part but how would I get the upgrade rebate? Does that mean in a year when it expires and I purchase another year I'll get a rebate from that? Or is it something else? |

No, the upgrade rebate means that you have to provide proof of a previous verion of a Norton or other Antivirus/system utility program. I'll attach a copy of the $20 upgrade rebate form, so you can read it and get the full details. $20 Systemworks Premier Upgrade Rebate

Got to Staples about 5am was quite alot of people. Bestbuy was a mad house so went back to Staples waited until store opened it was freezing cold here in dedham MA(20f) Got me the netgear, maxtor harddrive some photopaper(which was one per person) had my sisters with me so we got 1 each ALso got some dvd blanks from HP and playo will test them out later. Spent 203.00 will get back 124 in rebates My black friday was good. The laptops were given out by number so they were all gone by the time i got there. Had about 50 people in line. They had alot of norcent 19" lcd, but I passed on that. Circuit City was a madhouse and best buy was even more crazy had the line all the way back in the appliance section. Staples did a rather cool thing they put the hd and dvd drive and netgear behing the cashiers, so when everyone ran to the computer section those items were not their, it was funny. Well had a good bf2005 see you guys next year. Met a couple good people most likely fatwalleters, helped me out by getting a couple items while i got soemthings for them. Go fatwallet. |

Does anyone know if the limit for the playo DVD rebate is 1 (for both the +R or -R, meaning you only get 1 rebate only even if you purchased both 1 +R spindle and 1 -R spindle) or is it 1 each (meaning you get get 2 rebates? 1 for the +R and 1 for the -R. I happen to have purchased 1 +R spindle and 1 -R spindle, both on the same receipt, and two rebate forms printed out. The forms have different item numbers for the DVD but both forms are to send to the same address. Any suggestions? |

I managed to get the Acer notebook at Staples; it has a 4 cell, 2000mAH battery...not the advertised 8 cell battery as indicated on the flyer. I have seen that a few other people have noticed the same thing. It's probably not a fluke. I wonder if there is any recourse to get the 8 cell one for free. |

The two rebates (one for +R's and one for -R's) have different promotion numbers and each specifies the appropriate UPC number, so they should be totally separate and equally valid for one rebate each. |

Did not see the laminator. But got the DVD burner, remote, and shredder for $50 after $20 coupon. So all three are FAR. |

Went back to Staples today and they printed out the DVD-R rebate form that I didn't get (looks like they have a whole list full of the rebates on their comp and they'll print what ever you need) |

billrubin said:As I recall, last year the rebate limits were one, even for stuff that is usually limit 10.
Can someone shed some light on this issue of limit. Picked up: 1 Sandisk 512MB CF and 1 Sandisk 512MB SD Card. Now the rebate form that printed out states "Limit per customer/address:02".
Yet the Staples circular says "Limit one per customer" for front page stuff. And where the sandisk cards are printed it says "your choice".
Now I'm planning on submitting these as easy rebates only, no stamp. Will both of these be accepted? I'm seeing debates where people are saying 1 per customer/household even though the rebate forms clearly states 2.
Or are some of you saying that even though the forms says 2, easyrebate will only accept 1? so it's better to send it in by mail???
As soon as this BF thing settles down, I'll call customer service. Just thought someone here might be able to settle this with accurate information. |

If it says Limit 2, then you will be fine - - you will get both rebates. |
