Yup, for consumers this deal is very hot. It's way below Fleabay price. But not many people are looking to buy a $500 refurb projector. Other than this, deals are not worth waiting in line for. If we could use Stapl3s coupons on these deals, some of the deals would be hot. But we can't.
[edit] HP 8450 is a nice deal, also the free laminator is good. Just something about that 512MB RAM for $40 that is insulting to me, kinda leaves a bad taste in my mouth for the rest of the ad. |

huh? what do you mean "not many people want to pay $500 for a refurb pj??" considering msrp is $1000 right now, and we stormed woot recently when they had it for $700.....
anyway, i'm getting one if i can. luckily (i hope) i'll be in socal over thanksgiving. i've never gone to BF sales before. how can i ensure that i'll get one??? just go to different Staples stores when they open? call around? wait in line? camp overnight? are they opening at a different time? midnight or something? thanks for the help

jimmywalt said:For the last 3 years I've done the buy-return-rebuy at OfficeMax, Staples and Sears. Works like a charm!!!! I think it's not really necessary at Sears, they seem to have sufficient stock (I did it last year for the cheap DVD player, and they probably had hundreds available). Staples, it depends, my store seems to run out of stuff that they would never run out of on a normal day. OM, definitely, they seem to have a handful of items. |

PNY 512MB Flash Drive SKU 573955 $54.98-$35IS-$10SER=$9.94
I can purchase one instore now w/ $3 off Coupon now and pricematch on Friday before 10am right?
or purchase one online and pricematch online to instore?
Thanks! most store will do a return and rebuy, so your coupon will disappear, but they'll probably let you pricematch. i might actually consider doing this so i don't have to wake up early to get a deal. I wouldn't bother using the $3 coupon now.. you might lose it when you return/rebuy. Just use it later. They will have to do separate return and rebuy transactions (cannot use a coupon if they do it on one transaction) but it should not be an issue.
Also if you have other stuff on the transaction that you are not returning, they probably won't care about the coupon. If it's the only thing, they may, YMMV. |
